Could be the figure for the satellite mode Soundwave. Those 'blades' remind me of tuning forks a bit.

Still, I see no reason to think its Soundwave other than somebody already assuming so. This one is a "wait & see" until more info comes in.

Another thought; Maybe the satellite in question that he turns into at first isn't even an Earth type sattellite - maybe its his Cybertronian Protoform?

Shrinking the image down a bit helps as these pictures resolution is WAY too high for how garbled they are.

The first image (in Skowl's post) is obviously some kind of Alt form... those "blades" could be the equivalent to satellite solar panels.

When I heard Soundwave was going to be a satellite I figured it would be a Cybertronian satellite... so this could be a test model, but I am unconvinced. As others have said.. surely you could get better pictures than this if it is as crucial as it claims to be?

yizhy521 the poster who posted the first blurry images of what seems to be Transformers Revenge of the Fallen Soundwave has updated his thread with new clearer images.
He seems to have taken size comparison images with what seems to be a box of cigarettes or a trading card deck holder. He also confirms in one post that it is in fact a satellite.

To be honest, I thought Cybertron Soundwave looked like something you would see in a Bay movie.

I can't say for certain which TF parts were involved in the creation of this but I would say that a fair amount of tequila was used before assembly began. Someone is yanking the fans chain on this and I, for one, am not amused by it.

I love all the people who think this is fake, because his feet look like Blackout's or Megatron's or his body looks like Megatron's...

I have my movie toys in front of me right now, and though parts of this supposed Soundwave figure look like parts of other bots, it's to be expect since the same people design all the bots with the same style - and look closely, they aren't the same feet or body or legs or whatever. They look similar, but they aren't.

And by the look of the comparison pics, it looks like this guy is a Voyager-class figure, though probably on the smaller side like Blackout (although that is still better than the "deluxe" Animated toys that are no bigger than the Cybertron scout figures...)

If this is the real deal - and I'm not saying that I believe it is -, then I seriously hope it is mistransformed.
It just looks bad.

If it is genuine... then I hope it's just a crap toy and the movie rendition looks far superior. Which it probably will, you can't judge a film character with a toy... especially if that's one of the smaller, cheaper ones (hell, maybe even a mock-up at this stage)

But yea... that alt mode looks broken, completely. True a Cybertronian satellite can look like pretty much anything but come on

Question still remains, if Soundwave is a satellite, this doesn't necessarily prove he has a robot form in the film; I'm thinking of Scorponok having that awkward robot mode in toy form.
True there could be flashbacks, him descending to Earth, or transforming in space Unicron style...

Who knows until we see some official concept art, or failing that, the trailer or the movie itself lol

Actually, yea, I shrunk the resolution in MS Paint by 50% and you can actually make it out a heck of a lot better. If anyone wants me to, I could send in all the photos at the smaller resolution or on of the admins/mods could do it. It actually does not look much like Prime's head OR Megatron's chest or anyone's feet now. It actually looks really cool! Though I agree, it could be the Optimus Prime/Jetfire combination. It suits, I guess.

I keep seeing the Prime-head comment about the boards. But considering the 'ear'/crown kibble there and the apparent faceplate, they could easily be Bayverse tags to the more traditional/iconic Soundwave's head.
