He looks like his car mode resembles someone familiar. He is similar to the Powermaster Getaway and also reminiscent of Hot Spot in a way. Is he a totally fresh new character or is does he come out of another G1 character? Is he a part of a team? I am waiting for the omnibus to come out before I read the All Hail series completely. But I love spoilers.

Hmmm...looks like our Decepticon in-fighting is about to begin. I truly think that what's going to happen is they will turn on each other. They will begin to destroy each other...then two things will happen. First, Spike will do whatever he was going to do to Megatron. Second, Prime and the Autobots will manage to survive and, just when the infighting is at its height, counterattack and free Earth, earning at least a modicum of cooperation from the humans.

my theory of course...

So Jazz, what has he heard about the way Kup operates his crew?

What has Kup heard about Jazz that makes him so sure he wants him?

More tension between Skywarp and the Insecticons brewing... If the Boss doesn't pull his own crew together they'll be fighting eachother more than the Autobots.

Starscream isn't an idiot in AHM either. What is Megatron distracting his faithful from? Also, it seems like the Boss is just off by himself looking up into the heavens... and he gets a bit disturbed that Starscream might be doing the same.

*I think Megs is waiting for the swarm to arrive.*

Okay, it's far from perfect, but it's an improvement over the previous issues of AHM. Looks like McCarthy is FINALLY putting some substance in his pages.

He is a totally new character. He shows up with the Wreckers.

Hopefully this will be a new trend that translates into toys. Not just the War Within toys (which I greatly appreciate) but "regular" Transformers that continue the heritage of G1. Sort of resurrect it and carry it on.

drift is basicly a rip-off of the g2 autobot "Boss" mold, only with a new head, 17 swords and painted white!

Good observation. He appears to be on Cybertron. I wonder how he has an earth car alt mode if he is on Cybertron. Interesting. If he becomes a toy, he had better not be a repaint of Boss. If so he should be retitled "Gay-Lord."

that appears to be his earth-mode on the cover,
the retail-incentive cover for all hail megatron #5 has his cybertronian form, though i cant work out what hes suppost to be... :???:

It could be that a squad with Hot Rod and Drift head back to Earth. While the cover looks like they are on Cybertron remember that Megatron has been building Cybertronian structures on Earth.

Maybe that is where Drift and Hot Rod are fighting Insecticon clones.

anyone else notice that springers foot appears to go through drifts left soulder on the cover?

also, just my opinion, but the dialog between megs and screamer is awful! it just doesnt flow like a normal conversation/argument, i can see the point mcCarthy's trying to make (screamer seeing past megs attempt to keep his troops busy) but...meh

In re-reading the boss definitely signalled someone.

Hey guys, did AHM 6 come out today or was that last week. If it was supposed to come out today then it's probably going to come in this Friday for most shops.

Anyone notice that on the cover the shadows appear to be insects a "swarm" of insects?

The large shadow at the bottom right looks somewhat like Kickback.

Don't mean to sound like an absolute *twat*, but maybe you're not reading it right?

As an actor, lots of lines on aper don't look or sound good until you twidde with how you say them.

Or maybe I'm biased. Furman's dialogue is something I've always taken a very big issue with, so a change to McArthy makes McArthy's work seem a lot better.
