FOCUS!

Still not liking Universe Ratchet. Will get Henkei instead. Soundwave still looks short with those legs.

If the differences between the Universe Ratchet and Henkei Ratchet are like the differences between the Ironhide versions, you most definitely should.

With Ironhide, I'm OK with the Universe version. But the red weapon and crest on Ratchet are just wrong.

Is there like some universal law that dictates that photos of unreleased figures MUST be taken with a crappy camera and/or by someone who doesn't know how to take a picture?

Yes.
It's called Murphy's Law.

That said, I'm not sure whether I'll buy Universe Ratchet or not.
I passed on Ironhide, though I'm sort of regretting it and may buy him if the opportunity arises again.
Then again, I kind of like Ratchet better, because he's an ambulance instead of a generic mini-van.

As for Movie Soundwave, I'm sticking with my original opinion:
Yuck.

Going to get Wreck-Gar, and I may get Ratchet, but these photos... I can't remember the last time I've laid optics on such poor quality. Even the stuff I can take with the camera built into my iMac is much better than this.

Someone has not found the 'macro' button on their camera. Losing the red stripe on the bonnet has made Ratchet look a little better, hopefully they use a crisp white plastic rather than the milky plastic we have seen in earlier preview shots.

Universe Rachet for me. I'm not willing to pay the extra money. All of those look great. My wallet is crying but, my heart is singing.

I'll get the Universe one only because it's ratchet...But when it comes to the finer details, NOTHING actully makes this mold not be a peice of crap so in the end it really doesn't matter...

Bad pics on eBay items for early release are done on purpose gang.

The folks that want to buy them early want to do so such that they may gather fame and glory by putting up high quality pics themselves.

Cant see the problem with Ratchet myself, deffinately a grab at first opp for me. But oh Wreck-Gar just keeps getting sweeter and sweeter

Well the problems with Ratchet are simply the same problems with Ironhide...Of which there were many...

Yeah, i said in another post, i dont know if its a fluke or because i dropped him when i first got him but Ironhides head is fine on mine, apart from that (ok, the blue face aint perfect but hey) i love him to bits (and i hate Ironhide in the cartoons/comics lol)

I think when I get Ratchet I'll drop him a couple times just to be sure
