Looks pretty good. Seems that whichever designer keeps giving Movie characters weird legs was kept off this one.

Oh, and the reason we get blurry images is so the toy will sell for insane amounts of money to someone who wants to do the FIRST REVIEW OF MOVIE RX8!!!!!! on Youtube.

Not that im gunna open that can of worms but I kinda agree with you about the reviews on youtube.. you should check out my channel.. exclusive LAST reviews ..hell im still working my way through the first movies stuff!!

I cant say Im an amazing reviewer, cos Im not.. I forget alot of stuff I mean to mention and the first lots of videos Ive done I didnt even have a tripod ..but as with most things Im getting better at it with time

Well, it's not Barricade (just look at the face). I'm guessing that they will give him a Stunticon name.

Swindle (a Combaticon, i know) is already taken on the toyline (he is a red drone car for the first movie). Dead End seems to be that red bird-like car in the scout line for ROTF. Motormaster is bulkier, so i don't think he's Motormaster.

Being a sports car, he could be Dragstrip or Wildrider. However i'd like it to be Breakdown. That would be funny. Although Wildrider is more the Michael Bay kinda robot.

maybe its just me, but the head mold seems to bear a striking resemblence to the face on the teaser poster for ROTF...

It's the perfect colors to be Silverstreak but it's a Decepticon.

That's an amazing alt mode though, I wonder how the paint job is still nice. And even though it's probably mis-transformed the robot mode looks alright. Add another to the buy pile for me.

The alt mode itself is enough to make me not buy this figure.
I'd take some ugly Chevy Beat over htis any day, however awkward that is.
If it's Barricade, by some weird instance, I won't buy it either way.

Ugh. I don't like any of the movie designs, but I'm a little miffed that it took Hollywood status for Audi/VW to license a vehicle for a "war movie".

You'll remember back a few years when VW/Audi/Porsche wouldn't license Bumblebee, or Jazz in the Alternators/Binaltech line because it was a war toy and they didn't want to have anything to do with allowing their brand name to be tied to "war" (being a German car company and all, and still being so close to a few little wars from the early 20th Century).

Or, a year or so back when Bumblebee, despite Michael Bay wanting a car that was more badass anyways than a Beetle, said that VW also didn't want their car used in a war movie...

They seem to have no problem with Iron Man, Transporter, iRobot, or TF2 in showing off their wheels. At least 2 of those movies heavily geared towards children, and quite a big of "war mongering" going on...

AND their car is on the BAD side this time!

Great job, VW. I'd like my VW Beetle Masterpiece Bumblebee and Porsche Jazz now, since you're apparently no longer standing behind that bullshit.

I like the alt mode, but I really dont know about the robot mode. It does make me think of Barricade.

I have two scenarios passing through my head...i think its possible they changed barricade to a regular car to introduce Prowl without so much confusion. I also think barricade could end up being the faction-switcher, which honestly would make more sense than jetfire (he was a decepticon who has the ability to combine with Optimus? huh?).

Beautiful alt mode. Hideous robot mode! Didn't Cybertron Crosswise already have an alt mode just like this? Why couldn't they have just reused that?

Actually, Crosswise and all his many repaints(Smokescreen, Movie Jolt, Botcon shattered Glass Jazz and Ricochet) are modeled after the Seat Cupra GT.

Although with quite a few liberties, so as to not have to pay for using the likeness.
As for re-using it: Oh god please no, don't re-use that mold anymore. Its a very annoying mold to transform, and is floppy like hell. Its been repainted enough times already.

Eith that said, I'm really digging the Audi alt mode. and the robot mode doesn't look too bad.

Could this be the best deluxe alt mode ever?

Somehow I just lost a lot of my interest in Takaratomy's Alternity.

The bot mode? I can live with it. The kibble is a problem, but I don't think it'll be so bad when folded properly and there's been much worse. The biggest problem I have is the way the head just sits awkwardly on the bonnet. It's too high up, so hopefully there's a mistransformation in there somewhere.

It seems to me that they've toned down the movie aesthetic here somewhat. With a different head, this figure could almost fit into the Universe line. Maybe that's a good thing, I'm not exactly sure.
