I am all about Rodimus and Arcee. Gotta have all the classic movie characters. I'll be picking up the new Soundwave, too.

Roddy's looking good. very similar to classics Rodimus but also very different. Definite buy if I can get one.

Hot Rod is awesome. The head needs some work but still kicks ass. Arcee is another great figure as is Activator Soundwave. Hell they're all pretty damn cool. The only ones im not liking are the gold Grimlock, New Jazz (not enough different), and the Bumblebee with the sub thing. Cant wait to get these. Any word on a release date? Im really curious as to why they have all the old figures there too. You think it be all about the new stuff not the ones we've been seeing for the past year and a half.

Actually if you want to get nitpicky, he should be Hot Rod if you go by the G1 nomenclature.

Rodimus Minor is fine means he's not Prime rank yet. And I don't remember if he was referred to as a Prime in the Transwarped Episode. Was he?

No, his bio clearly states that he's a Prime:

RODIMUS PRIME
FUNCTION: CAVALIER

RODIMUS PRIME was dubbed ‘the chosen one’ in the Autobot Academy. He is well liked and highly skilled. Rodimus is a natural leader and seemingly on the fast track to becoming Magnus. He is exceptionally skilled in servo to servo combat as well as being a master at many Autobot defensive weapons. His armament of choice is an energy bow of his own design.

Besides, it was also said that Primes command crews, and Rodimus does just that, as his crew consists of Hot Shot, Red Alert, Brawn, and Ironhide.

The fact that his altmode was based more on G1 Hot Rod's rather than G1 Rodimus Prime's does not affect his name, as this guy is a completely different character.

I thought that there was a liscensing issue (like Hasbro not renewing it) that affected Rods name? Makes little sense to call it "Minor" on one side of the package and "Prime" on the back side of the package.
Either way, it's Hot Rod as far as I'm concerned. It's so damn close to it's G1 counterpart that I'm not splitting hairs, he's just staright-up Hot Rod.
(Can you tell that I finally found a new TF toy that I can't gripe about. Yeah, I'm shocked too.)
I'm also actually diggin Ratchet alot and I love the Arcee mold. Awsome touch giving her the pair of swords just like in her Spotlight issue. Kind of screws with the brain thinking of her as a former Cybertronian school teacher wielding weapons she went samurai-slayer-beserk with in a different continuity.
Detention in her classes must have really sucked!

Good to see Arcee's arms look okay, I remember a lot of complaints about that from that early photo we were shown.

I just don't like Rodimus's face. Such a great looking mold that just gets ruined by the head of the robot.

Ratchet is nice, but not really necessary, and Hydrodive BB didn't come across as well as I hoped.

Arcee looks great though, I'll definatly pick her up.

I WANT!!!! Roddy and Arcee look awesome. HDBB too. I was hoping to see some Wingblade Prime and Blackout since those 5 are my most wanted as of right now.
