While that is indeed a cool set, I already have all of those figures so it's hard to want to purchase the set just so I could get a battle scarred Sideways.

It will be a great money-saver though as 4-packs tend to be about $10 cheaper than buying everything separately.

With that many figures to the set I'm calling either Sam's Club or Costco exclusive. Pass for me in any case.

The Arker has released more box images, this time around it's a Revenge of the Fallen Box Set, entitled "Autobot Strike Mission". This set includes RotF Deluxe Breakaway, Movie 2007 Longarm, a Battle-damaged RotF Deluxe Sideways, and RotF Deluxe Rampage.

Breakaway, Longarm and Rampage are identical to their original releases. While Sideways seems to have 'battle-damage', the changes compared to his original release are minuscule.

'Autobot Strike Mission' gives new fans a chance on picking up 2007 Movie Longarm, however the other three figures are recent releases. This set will most likely not hit main retail. It can be assumed that this is either a Sam's Club Exclusive or a Costco Exclusive. Since Sam's Club Exclusives usually involve Deluxe Figures, and since Costco Exclusives usually go for bigger figures at lower prices, it can be assumed that this is a Sam's Club Exclusive.

This is the biggest pass I'll ever make. It's a tasteless exclusive, Sideways is barely altered and they dish this thing out with '07 Longarm? The least they could do is to repaint Longarm to make this set appealing. I sure hope people who buy this at least save money than buying the Deluxes individually.

Well, whilst it may save someone some money, it's a pointless pack. I already have Rampage and have decided on Thrust and Dead End instead of Breakaway and Sideways. I want Longarm, but if I really want him, I can get him separately. But this is just a lazy reissue of three figures, with another VERY lazy repaint of a fourth. So much for battle damage. Even the Battles Begins figures are better (then again, I don't mind them that much). Very easy pass. The only figure I even want from that is Longarm, anyway. Breakaway and Sideways... no way.

Why did they have to ruin it with a battle damaged figure ??? couldn't they just put in the regular version of Sideways ???
sorry for the rant i just don't like battle damage, it seems pointless.

IF Hasbro was smart they'd repaint these. In this colour i really see no need of buying these again.

My suggestions for Hasbro:

Silver Breakaway, green/orange Longarm (call him Hoist), reversed black/silver Sideways (call him Wildrider) and red Rampage.

I'd totally buy that.

They should have repainted these guys. This is just a lame repack of extra figures. I can't tell. Is that even the rarer brown variant of Breakaway? If it is, and this set cheap enough to offset the fact that I already have Longarm, I may still pick it up. But they really should put more effort into these exclusives.

I believe Longarm was in the prequel novel, The Veiled Threat. :-B

I want this. I hope it's at Costco.
I don't have any of these figures, so this would a great way to get them.
Plus, I really want Longarm.

If it's Costco, you're gonna have it in Canada. I believe Sam's Club has some chains in Ontario, but that's just it.

That is correct, he was, along with several other guys that were toy only (some renamed) from line one, and a few newer ones. I recall Knockdown, I'm still reading it. He is also, like several of the other non-movie Deluxes from TF1, semi-based on one of the 'drone' models from the video games.

Breakaway is used in the games. He's the flying and sniper type for the Autobots in the console ones.

Overall, I agree that these should of been repainted or something to make them more exclusive. About the only thing to gain here is the Longarm for people that missed the first one.

I could see this as being an 'off-camera' accompliment to the fight in the beginning of the movie, though. Sideways was running -away- from someone when he was spotted, and as the Constructicons exist reusing their body forms amongst members.

I was going to say they should have made an exclusive version of Sideways that "transforms" from a car into...two halves of a car

Longarm should be repainted into Hoist, Breakaway should be redecoed into Powerglide, or maybe an Arielbot. Rampage should be red, and Sideways should be made into Deadend. Then, this set would be nice.

I can't believe nobody's mentioned it, but they should've had Rampage red, like in the movie. With a repainted Longarm or a different figure, this might be worth it.
