I just typed "universe" into the search box; a bunch of other stuff came up, but so did the TF Universe figs on sale. Great deals- Blades, Heavy Load, and Treadbolt for $10.49 each!

My local TRU had the voyager universes maked 50% off but nothing else. It also had on the sale tag one day only. I think, from the guy I talked to about anything else in the back, that this may be based on what is in stock, how much etc....

Either way I'll def. check back tomorrow. If I can get ultramagnus at 20$ I totally will.

All of these action figures are an amazing 50% off so this is a great time to catch up on any that you may have missed. Unfortunately, the TRU Exclusive figures such as Countdown are NOT included but there are still some awesome deals to be had, especially considering that these voyager and ultra figures are priced less than deluxes!

There have been reports of this sale being offered both online and in-store but it is not known how long it will last in either capacity.

I was in a local Toys R Us today and they had signs up for the Universe 50% off sale but I couldn't find anything about the Animated Leader and Supreme sale. Though to be fair, I didn't know about that sale until I got on these forums.

Yes, although they weren't really promoting the fact at the store I was at. I saw one discounted price tag for Powerglide for 12.99, but that was it. Other than that one I had to bring each fig up to the price scanner to check. FWIW, everything I checked matched the website prices. Unfortunately I didn't check leader Animated Megatron, which isn't listed on the site at all, so that may or may not be on sale as well. And I believe the Powerglide tag said the sale went through the week...

Sounds good. My TRU had maybe 5 Magnuses in stock Friday, so I'll check after work tomorrow. (Un)Fortunately, my credit card company is running maintenance on their systems, so I can't make any impulsive purchases online.

Thanks for the tip. I got Universe Voyagers last friday at my local TRU for 50% off, but the others scanned at full price. I'll hit them again today to see if I can get extra Magnuses for 50% off too.

Just in case anyone gets spooked. If they price check it and it rings up normal price, Have them ring it up as if you were actually going to purchase it. The sale price will only show then....

Great deal actually. I just picked up Ultra Class Silverbolt and Voyager Class Heavy Load (Quick Mix), for about twenty four dollars and change at TRU. I saved about twenty three dollars!! Pick them up while you can. At the scanner, it said that this sale is going on until 7/18/09, so pick up what your missing before it ends.

Ultra Magnus is also on sale in-store, and man, seriously, I did not think I'd ever see this guy on sale. Also bought a Tread Bolt for $10 :grin:

Hopefully someone can confirm, but I would assume the answer is yes. I know both Animated leaders available on the site are on sale, but Megs isn't listed at all. You could probably make a pretty compelling argument to a manager if it did ring up full price, though...

I don't think I've ever checked...does TRU differentiate all their figures on the receipt like Walmart, or do they use the same codes for all like-class figures as Target does?

well the real sale in the flyer is 50% animated supreme, leader, and bumper battlers.

so if they have a megatron leader in the store, it should be 50% off jst grab the weekly ad when u walk in.

this also explains why the ultra exclusives are not 50% off since the ad does not say anything about universe figures.
