There have been reports that the Toys "R" Us exclusive Commemorative G1 Soundwave was shipping. Now we have a report it is out in Toys "R" Us stores. Our own Ultra Rodimus has reported finding Soundwave at a Toys "R" Us in Orland Park, IL. Here are pictures of Soundwave with a receipt:

I was completely shocked when I found him, I wasn't expecting it. As you can tell from the pic I was really out this morning looking for wrestling figs when I turned around and saw him.

I am also honored to be noted in the news section.

I'll hafta check.....I've been waiting for this. But I ask you, why am I getting another one when I already got the TFC #10 Soundwave? Maybe it's because I'm a Soundwave lover.........plus he comes w/2 Cassetticons

I might end up getting this too even though I got the takara reissue. Its cheep enough that i can justify getting him and maybe getting some soundblaster stickers off reprolabels

Good idea, I was just going to leave him as is, just add the new stickers. Dont think i'll paint him but coloring the bay door might look sweet

Already got mine in the mail. It is amazing! Really. The box art is extremely nice. The only flaw is there is no directions for applying the stickers, but you can look at the pictures on the box and Seibertron toy gallys for that. If you see it, buy it!

I got my gf who lives in MA to order two and they arrived yesterday. I'm in the UK so I have to wait for her to ship them to me now. so maybe a week or so.

But so glad I finally have this on the way, I never had him when I was a kid.

Soundblaster=Soundwave. Their labels are the same. Heck, look at the Ravage cassette, he's got the "Fortmax" readout..........same as that of the Soundblaster version.

It looks like you can also find the Spirit Squad at TRU...

BTW, do they still plan on filling their online preorders from this past Christmas? My mom tried to order it for me, Christmas came and went (nothing), and my birthday has also come and gone. She hoped it would be coming soon, but it doesn't look to be the case here.

I got mine this past weekend delivered to my door. I dig this guy. I never had him as a kid.

Something cool about him is the date stamp on the back says Hasbro 1974 1983 and Takara 1974 1983. No mention of 2006/7 anywhere on it.

The only flaws I see on it are paint apps on the cassette door and the crotch sticker on mine came as if it were re-applied a few times.

i went to 3 TRUs today no soundwave yet but i went to target and got cliffjumper and ramjet so it wasnt a total loss

I found four on Saturday afternoon at the Shaumburg, IL TRU (my brother posted the sightings). I left them only because my TRU.com pre-order arrived on Thursday.

I am suprised that the only reported sightings so far are all in my area (NW Illinois). Usually we are close to dead last at getting anything new, especially with TRU.
