So I clicked on the Philosopher's Forum on the site navigation on the left and get taken to this:

"You are not authorised to read this forum."

Did I miss something?

It was nixxed shortly before the forum upgrade. I'm not sure why the menu option is back, though. Or why there's a question mark in place of the apostrophe.

Yeah, I knew it was gone - but the returning navigation button (with '?') confused me.....

Because it turned into an all-out shitstorm. No one was respecting anyone else's beliefs or opinions, and it was getting very out of hand.

I'm not sure if there's much of a chance of it coming back. As Shadowman said, in its final days, it was a battle royale. Besides, read Cyber Bishop's sig: Keep your silence, lest he kills you until you are dead! Then you won't be a good drinking buddy or less-than-photogenic woman to anyone.
