"TRANSFORMERS Movie Deluxe: DREADWING
DREADWING isn't terribly intelligent, so no one's certain where he got the teleportation technology that allows him to warp up to two and a half miles instantly. He sure didn't invent it and no one else has it, so he must have stolen it, which makes sense. He is, after all, a born thief. Sneaky and greedy, he pranks and steals from his fellow DECEPTICONS as often as the AUTOBOTS. No one likes him, so he spends most of his time alone, plotting grand schemes and spiking other robots' gas tanks with sugar.
Based on the character from the TRANSFORMERS video game (not included), convert this DECEPTICON figure from menacing robot mode to fighter jet vehicle mode and back again! It features dual missile launchers in robot mode! This is one awesome figure for your collection!"
"TRANSFORMERS REAL GEAR ROBOTS BOOSTER 10
Uncover one of the most closely held secrets on Earth, known only to very few humans. The power of the Allspark has been unleashed, and machines all over the world have come alive. Unlock their secrets and join the battle!
BOOSTER X10 is a mean-spirited trickster with a talent for toying with people. Sophisticated hypersonics allow him to distort any audio signal, even simple speech. His favorite trick is to wait in his victim's pocket and alter incoming sounds to cause accidents and arguments. He loves seeing how much trouble he can cause just by changing the sound of a word here, or making a racing ambulance sound like a barking dog. Convert this DECEPTICON figure from robot to MP3 player mode and back again! Collect this awesome figure and join the TRANSFORMERS battle!"

Actually Jaz, from what I can remember of seeing a picture of "Rescue" Ratchet's concept art (be flipped if I can remember where, sadly) he was mostly red. Mind you, that was almost a completely different design apart from being a similar-shaped vehicle, so if this is just a repaint he might not be the same as this chap.
So, Dreadwing... not Skywarp at all, then. Nosiree
Wait... of leader Megatron: "CYBERTRON jet vehicle mode has electronic horn sounds and lights that add to the excitement!"
Why would a spaceship have a horn? Is there really that much traffic up there?

Of course, it does beg the question: How well with yellow/green Ratchet sell when everyone "in the know" will know that a more G1-esque version will come out later? Makes you wonder.

The kids will still buy the first one they can, as will the older non-net TFans. And the completists will buy both.
As far as the color, almost anything would be preferable to neon-puke with fluorescent orange highlights.

I very much doubt that you would get the Sukhoi - the movie series is very Amerocentric.
The F-117 would make sense for a sneaky thief though. And weren't there rumors of Megs being an F-117, just the same as there were rumors of him being an APC, which just happened to turn out to be Wreckage, another nonmovie character?

Jaz-Zen wrote:Now that you mention it, Kayevcee, I remember the pic you're talking about. I would be okay with that...red and white scream "Ratchet" almost as much as white and red. It was just that the "seem more natural" comment really made me think they would go with white and red instead of red and white. It should be cool either way, though.
Different design completely, but the paintjob seems more tradtional.

I love this line: "His new paint job helps him fit in, and allows him to help more humans than ever before. Plus, these new decorations just seem more natural somehow." Hehehe! =) Natural is right... May not have seen pictures, but I bet he'll have a paint job exactly like his G1 version. Cool.
I taught they would repaint Ratchet into Prowl instead of being a resuce vehicle he could be a paddy wagon

I personally consider Classics Bumblebee the BB of my collection, and I'll just consider Movie `74 Camaro BB as a Decepticon I'm calling Hornet. So if repaint Ratchet makes a better Ratchet than green Ratchet, I may just call repaint Ratchet the Ratchet of my collection, and figure out a different name for green Ratchet, if I even get him.

Wanna see the figure itself for DreadWing.
Could be very good indeed.
Really wanna see repaint Ratchet too. This could be the Ratchet I've been waiting for.
