snakasblog.com- According to a translation of Snakas' blog, which describes the very latest issue of Figure Oh (Figure King) NO. 134, there is a possible end to the Henkei line hinted at.
This issue, according to Snakas, highlights the Takara-Tomy offerings of the Transformers Revenge of the Fallen line, as well as, a feature on Transformers history in a 25 years section dedicated to 1991-1992 this time. The magazine also mentions/shows the newest and supposedly last Henkei releases, Smokescreen and Red Alert.

Snakas writings mention an end to the Henkei series, with nothing new in the works. Could it be? Will there be more store or show exclusives, or is the line done after the release of the final two?

Well that's really bad. I really like the Henkei line, i have them all and i want more. Has for Cliffjumper i'm safe for now, i have a deluxe one whit FansProject upgrade and a new painting inspirated on the G1 version, it is beautifull.

Why is everybody so surprised about this.
Takara needs Hasbro to make molds for the Universe line it can use for its Henkei Line. Since its not making any molds itself for the line.
If Hasbro is putting Universe on hiatus its only logical to expect Henkei to go on Hiatus.
Until Hasbro puts out more Universe molds there's nothing for Takara to repaint. Ergo Henkei goes in hiatus.
They could of course repaint some of the existing molds into new characters like:
Tripedacus Agent from Universe Cheetor, maybe even Tigatron.
Beastwars Thrustor or Hardhead from Dinobot If they remold the dino head.
If they really want to push it, they can turn Hound into Detritus
I'm sure they could keep the line going with these repaints for a little while.
But I guess they'll be busy repainting Movie figures instead.
Or maybe they are busy working on a release of Animated which has been a Western World only release so far.
