1st Party, Items direct from Hasbro and TakaraTomy.
2nd Party, Items produced by other companies under license by HasTak. Everything from party napkins to IDW comics.
3rd Party, Items produced by companies not under license to do so, to compliment 1st/2nd party items.
KO, Items directly copied from 1st/2nd Party items without license in direct violation of standing copyrights.

Can we get that giant Transformers Knock Offs thread from the Transformers Toy forum here pl0x? Because it belongs here to be honest. And it would up the user traffic in this area. If you're worried about people from Toys not finding it just leave a shadow when you move it.

I periodically go through phases where I can't throw the dough @ the real thing, so I go dippin' into the world of the the KO. I hunt for really good likenesses, and the exact opposite. I've just joined the forums, and I'll throw a pic of this up ASAP, but I just snagged a "grail" KO item. It's a 1x scaled-down Liokaiser, correct head/component colors. I was a little bummed 'cause they replaced the hellbat with a tank vehicle(looks like a tiny doubledealer, and I don't know who he's a KO of). But, for a KO, it's mighty sweet.
The other drawback is this: because of the blue tank-figure not being part of the original concept, his "arm" mode is 1/2 inch shorter than the "Guyhawk" arm.

I just want to say that if it wasn't for 3rd partys like Fansproject/iGear, I wouldn't have much to look foward to regarding toy releases & figures I actually want to own. So... with that line of reasoning, I think this subforum is a good idea
