We have been provided with new images of Scout Class Windcharger and Chopsaw. Windcharger is heavily influenced by his G1 incarnation and will make a great addition to any Classics collection. Chopsaw is a repaint of HFTD Brimstone. See the pictures below.

Not big on chopsaw but will def be picking up Windcharger. On an off note why is Scarlett's head on the Baronness' body?

Well...looks promising at least. Chopsaw is a definite pass. Not a big fan of the robot mode, and that light grey plastic is hideous as usual.

Not keen on Windcharger. Car mode looks ok I guess. His head made me think he was Megatron as a small car (maybe like them spychangers or whatever they were?). Chopsaw would look better if the light gray was a much darker color maybe black or silver. In fact I might buy one and paint those bits black and drybrush silver over it.

I'm more interested in the Scattershot repaints particularly the darker one. Who are they?

His head is actually based on the G1 cartoon, but a tad more angular. Look at Alternator Decepticharge, or even Binaltech Arcee, they have Windcharger's intended head.

Firetrap (green) and Autobot Flak (grey). Firetrap is mass retail and a homage to either G1 Roadbuster, or G1 Brawn, while Flak is an exclusive. Flak comes in a 3-pack with a repaint of Dune Runner as Rollbar, and a repaint of Legends Ravage.

Thanks. I'll try to find those then. I don't mind buying that 3 pack as I don't yet own any figure using that Dune Runner mold and while I have Legends Ravage I'm quite happy to have another especially if it's got a different color scheme. I just really like the Scattershot mold and want those redecoes Flak and Firetrap and have a lil unit of them sorta the same way the Seekers are.

I would love to see the G1 minicars all done in the scout size. The scale between scouts and deluxes is almost perfect to the scale from the show. We got a Huffer scout int the PCC's, but it would be cool to have a scout sized Gears or Brawn.

Heh, thanks. I looked for it on ebay and amazon and couldn't find it. That pic says exclusive to Sainsburys so am glad to see it IS available in the UK though I seem to live in an area not near a Sainsburys. I checked their website but it ain't there. Windcharger looks excellent. I'll be buying him for sure Tailgate too if they decide to do a white & blue repaint.

I assume we'll just get a straight repaint, but a retool of the head would probably convince a lot more people to pick up the repaint. The helmet bit could even stay the same, just need to change the face. Of course, for someone as minor as Tailgate I doubt this will happen - but you never know.

Thanks. When I got a bit more money together (doing a small paid project at moment) I'll see about if I can spare the money for it and get back to you. I didn't know ya get lil soldiers in it too. I really like that pack.

Already have have Brimstone so im going to pass on Chopsaw. I like the mold but this repaint isnt that great. Windcharger looks awesome hes a must buy.

Chopsaw isnt bad, but i'm probably gonna pass on this repaint. Windcharger looks very nice, but OMG do his thighs need some detail work and his hands really need to be painted (if he has any). still like him though

Agreed. The minicons have been getting some weird size modifiactions in the Classics/Generations/etc. lines. I may have forgotten some but there was a deluxe Bumblebee and Cliffjumper, Legends Wheelie, Warpath, Beachcomber, and Brawn, Ultra Powerglide, and (if you are one of the people that count him) Voyager Seaspray. :-?

I could see Gears as a Leader class toy... :-B

Can't wait for that Windcharger. Would love to see a repaint and head remold to give us Windbreaker/Zap.

Love to see Scout versions of the RID Spychangers, especially Ironhide.

At any rate, Windcharger looks immensely promising and is a automatic purchase in my book. Chopsaw... Not so much. Maybe as a Junkion. Possibly. Not. Heh.

Now, to see if Hasbro'll repaint Windcharger into Tailgate or not in the coming months.
