Third party toy maker that created the Supreme Tactical Commander-Grand Patriot (Rolling Thunder Optimus Prime) http://www.seibertron.com/transformers/ ... ime/20091/ has sent Seibertron.com a sneak preview exclusively what they have in store in the near future.

Apparently this set will be the upgrade kits for War For Cybertron Optimus Prime & Megatron. At the moment, Xovergen gives both of them a pair of articulated fists. However, it is believe more to come in this upgrade pack.

So new hands...allowing them to hold STICKS! I'm guessing they'll be handles for customizable weapons, which would whet the appetite of anyone who hadn't seen that other company's WFC Op Axe.

The coolest part of this has to be the name: "War For Cyborgtron" just sounds like the title of some time-lost Joseph Lai import that needs to be on my DVD shelf in between "Space Transformers" and "Solar Adventure". In fact, I'm suddenly convinced that's where all the unaccountable footage in "Space Thunder Kids" came from! I must own it, regardless of its non-existence!

I like that it's a light teaser. I'm betting it comes with more weapons from the WFC game. Maybe better hands for BB too? And a sword that isn't poor like the ones in his arms?

The Prime hands look weird...too big or something. But still a cool idea nonetheless.

Here's hoping for a game accurate minigun for Prime. Just to clarify, I don't mean the huge two-handed gatling gun that you could get from destroying the big 'Cons. I mean Prime's unique, integrated gun. That folding rifle that the figure comes with is weak.

Considering Optimus and Megatron are the only WFC figures I like, I'll probably get this set.

Does anyone know when or where Xovergen's STCGP (rolling prime) is/has going to be sold? Call me paranoid but the language in this article sounded like it was already out.

Meg's new hands would make him unable to equip his fusion cannon. That's a large negative. The cannon can probably attach to the new wrist claw things, but then I think the toy would just fall over to that side. Unless they really improve the vehicle mode somehow (and I suspect they don't attach to that mode at all), I can't see any reason to get these.

Nope = the square block for the canon to mount on is right there.
