From a press release issued today via Hasbro (HAS NYSE), the company has announced a quarterly cash dividend of $0.30 per common share. The dividend will be payable on February 15, 2012 to shareholders of record at the close of business on February 1, 2012.
During the tenure of the Transformers movie trilogy and the release of the live action G.I. JOE movie, dividends maintained an average payout of $0.20 per common share. With the increase in payout per share, speculation of a possible fourth film for the Transformers movieverse and the upcoming release of G.I. JOE 2, things are looking good for the toy maker.

Now let's just hope they increase it in 2012. I have enough shares now to pay for a few Transformers every quarter with the dividends, and the more they raise it, the more Transformers I can buy. Even better if the share price crashes, 'cause then I can buy more.
For sale: My entire Transformers and third-party collection. Includes Masterpiece, Generations, Universe, Movie, Prime, Armada/Energon/Cybertron, G1, G2, a few Japanese imports, etc. Many never opened, the rest displayed in enclosed display cases to keep the dust off. A few ads on Craigslist/OfferUp for DC/MD/VA locals, will post on boards or ebay when I have time.
