The first annual Transformers convention in Singapore kicks off tomorrow and the Resorts World building is undergoing a major transformation. Fans can expect to see Transformers toys from some of the major lines and a host of current toys. A massive, life sized Optimus Prime will be in attendance and with the help of some scaffolding, attendees will be able to take their pictures eye to eye with the iconic Autobot hero.

Among the displays will be a Kre O area, with interactive events starring Kre O BumbleBee. According to Asia.cnet.com, one of, if not THE major detail this preview has divulged, is the planned announcement regarding Transformers 4! What information will leave the realm of speculation? Time will tell.

I'm hoping everyone is paying attention to this event this weekend ... this is the event that we want here in the U.S. This is what North American Transformers fans deserve!

Seibertron.com Team member Mach is on hand in Singapore at the beautiful World Resort. His first wave of photos can be found below and it still some time before the event launches! Displays of the origins of Transformers have been spotted, and the empty room where an interview with Hideaki Yoke, considered the father of Transformers, will be soon be filled. Mach has sent another load of pics, this time detailing the Transformers Prime Arms Micron campaign. These Deluxe scale figures will include dynamic new "partners" that will transform from weapon to robot or animal. Also on display are 2 Lucky Draw style Voyagers from Dark of the Moon; Megatron and Sentinel Prime!

Pity I can't make it this time around. Thanks to Mach for such cool pictures! I wonder if there would be any more Tf cons in Singapore..

Anyways the Takara's Prime figures looks really good; glad I pre-ordered them.
