The Chicago Tribune's pop-culture blog Geek to Me recently caught up with well Ernie Hudson, the voice of Agent William Fowler on the Hub's Transformers Prime. They discuss his role of Transformers Prime, live action vs. animation, what type of Transformer character he would create for himself, and more. An interesting note spotted by our eagle eyed member Sabrblade, they mention Transformers Prime is approaching it's mid-season hiatus. It sounds like after a lengthy streak of uninterrupted episodes we are heading for a break in the near future.

Just a couple of excerpts below, click here for the full interview.

With Transformers Prime approaching it's mid-season hiatus, Hudson took time to answer some questions for Geek To Me. In our e-mail interview, Hudson talks about the difference between acting for films and animation; what his dream role would be; what he knows about a potential Ghostbusters sequel; and what kind of autobot he would create for himself:

Geek To Me: When you first agreed to take the role of Agent Fowler for Transformers Prime, did you ever think the show would gain the notoriety that it has?

Ernie Hudson: When I first took the role of Agent Fowler I didn't think much about how popular it would or would not be. It wasn't until I met everyone at the first session that I became a believer and genuinely felt we had something truly special.

Mid-season hiatus?!! NOOOOO!!!!!!!! It was going so smoothly so far without any breaks! Those plagued season 1 so much and now season 2 is getting one? Come on! I thought they said they were far enough into the show's production that this wouldn't be a problem. :BANG_HEAD:

i love his answer to what transformer he'd be or create. not sure the name matches but i love the idea of that car with that sorta personality. surprised the live action movies never did that. a british car with a james bond-ish persona seems like the corny but neat stereotype they would have done.

though i guess Cars 2 sorta did that already but you know. lol (speaking of, just saw that movie for the first time last night and yeah....its very pretty and great animation but sorta boring, just like the first. lol)
