The Autobase Aichi facebook page has posted a nice in-hand gallery of the Toys"R"Us Japan Exclusive Transformers Prime Arms Micron Gatling Bumblebee. The figure features a shiny metallic paint job and a gray version of the B.2 Arms Micron. There are also side by side comparison images with the figure's Hasbro Weaponizer Bumblebee counterpart. Images mirrored below.

I'm NOT a fan of the gold and yellow combo in Robot Mode at all!! Vehicle Mode however, I can get behind!! But do I really want to pay that much for a Transformer JUST to have it displayed in Vehicle Mode?? I don't think so!!

If they're going to paint Bumblebee in gold, at least go all the way. Leaving his "collar bone" area in bare plastic just looks bad.

Could be, although it doesn't explain the unpainted back of the legs. I dunno, it just looks like TT's trying to skimp of a couple drops of gold paint.

I really love Weaponizer Bee. It's great looking in both mode and fun to transfortm.
But what the hell with the fancy Japanese version? The vehicle is very nice looking but the bot mode is only half painted?! Man, this bot mode look like a half finished mess.

Couldn't have said it better myself, it like the japanese bumblebee drove under a ladder and caused a bucket gold paint to spill over over his vehicle form, but the paint couldn't penetrate through the panels that cover the inner parts.
This dualsided paintjob is just very sloppily, it's not even interesting for speculation.
