Are those TEETH?! This whole time I thought that mold just add a subtle smile, but no it's all crazy-ass GRAAAAAAHGH!


It's kinda neat how the uniform colors give the impression the combined mode is just one bot, which makes enough sense as it is just one guy "in there" (the drones are just extensions of the core dude and whatnot) as opposed to more traditional gestalts where it's multiple personalities.
Still prefer Hasbro's versions, though. Theirs are a lot more 'real-world'.

There does seem to be a Constructicon theme in his coloration, but I'd really like for him to not be one of the main six. Like, maybe he could be the "Eighth Constructicon" seen in the flashback to Megatron's creation (Hauler's said to be the seventh according to some sources). Or, maybe Hydra can pull out some really obscure Construction-like character to really wow us with this guy.

Makes sense, as Eldedroids are essentially Black Convoy bodies. Score another one Hydra

Unified colour scheme. That's the only difference, so...

Looking like they really belong together or otherwise providing a good balance of colours in gestalt mode is important for a combiner group and the PCC sets didn't always deliver on that.
