TKYuki has tweeted an in-package image of Takara Tomy's soon to be released Transformers Generations TG-17 Voyager Class Blaster with Steeljaw and TG-18 Skywarp. Both feature the line's signature metallic paint. At this point there has been no word regarding a Hasbro release for Skywarp, which leaves this version the only option for those hoping to complete the classic Seeker trio of Starscream, Thundercrack, and Skywarp in this particular mold. im sure they wont have a hard time finding blaster, its been how long since he was "released" and i still havent seen him. All anyone has is soundwave, and i was worried that soundwave would be hard to find.

It would be nice if Hasbro got off their arse and released Skywarp in North America, but I'm not taking my chances with that, and paying roughly $40 for a figure of that size would be insane on many levels, but with Skywarp being one of my most favorite characters, I'm willing to pony up. As a side note, it would be cool to see a Fall of Cybertron Acid Storm and Sunstorm, and FoC variants of Thrust, Ramjet, and Dirge.

It would be kind of interesting to see how Hasbro would approach designing the Conehead Seekers from the Fall of Cybertron Starscream mold, if they decide to act on it. Wouldn't mind an Acid Storm and a Sunstorm being birthed from these molds as well, but it would be sweet to retool the face into a smirk or a scowl to be differential.

The fact I missed out on the original Classics Seekers is what's driving me to attempt to assemble the Fall of Cybertron Seekers (so in a way, MTMTE is an influencing factor).

I have Acid Storm from Universe/Classics, but that's the only version of the Classics Seeker mold I own. I saw Starscream from the same line once, never again, and I never even seen Generations Thundercracker, only his wavemates

Eh, maybe. I never really thought about the Titanium line, but I did see the Target exclusive Thrust along with Hot Spot Zone once.

Sometimes I think I take for granted toy availability in my area. They were never hard to find up here. I have Titanium Thrust, too.

It's very rare for me to find what I'm looking when stopping by a retailer for a visit. Usually it's just waves of Bumblebees, figures I already own, or ones that I do not want. Some of the times I just order off their websites because I get too frustrated being told "Oh yeah, the next truck will have it" only to find that the truck didn't have it. A big example of this was when I was searching for Fall of Cybertron Swindle so I could finish my Bruticus.

I don't care about the voyager Soundwave/Blaster mold but that Skywarp, yeah. That's the stuff. Really hope they get around to Thundercracker too. I'd really love to get a Sunstorm from that mold as well. You know, just recolor that mold until it falls apart. I'd be cool with that.

I'm finding it difficult to recall, what are the most recent examples of this? Both markets have gotten the Classics seekers. Neither got Animated Thundercracker. Both got Animated Skywarp. Both markets have gotten Masterpiece versions of Skywarp and Thundercracker. I owned both Takara ones and can't get rid of Skywarp to save my life. I don't follow the movie figures too closely. Would that be what you meant?

I'm certain the last Skywarp that wasn't Kre-O or Bot Shots we got was the Wal*Mart exclusive Masterpiece back in late 2009-early 2010.

I didn't think about the current line since Skywarp and Thundercracker don't exist in show. For me, Movie, Activators and Legends aren't on my radar as the "real" toylines. I just gloss over them. You're correct though.

eBay seller lena81822 has listed an auction for Takara Tomy's upcoming Transformers Generations TG-18 Skywarp featuring a series of in-hand images. At the moment we've received no word regarding Hasbro's intentions for Skywarp in the FOC Deluxe mold leaving this version the only option for those looking to complete the classic Seeker trio. Check out the images mirrored below.

Initially, I complained that he was too purple, but I've since seen that this is how he is colored in the game too so I retract that.

However, I hope Hasbro puts out a black version anyway. That one could be Skywarp, and then one could be generic seekers.

He both is and isn't game-accurate. He is in that his color set up matches the game, but he isn't in that he uses too much gray that a lot of needs to be closer to black.
