Will we see Nemesis Prime/Scourge?

I have seen G2 Prime on the shelves quite a bit now and have chosen to pass up both Hasbro and Takara. But I would like to know if there are any rumors of a Nemesis Prime/Scourge repaint? I think it would look really cool for this mold. And just for the hell of thought in the wake of animated Motormaster why not for this mold? (I'm just saying) Does anyone know does anyone care?

An alternate head has been seen and it's such an easy/obvious choice that I think they'd be mad not to.

Well alrighty then, it would be sweet if they alternated his weapon some way or another but I'll take what I can get!

Normally I'd say that's a given, but we actually haven't seen one in a while. The last one I think was SDCC Universe Nemesis Prime. I agree that Hasbro would be stupid not to use that cash cow.

I assume it would it would be Nemesis Prime if we get it in 2011, and Scourge only after the current G1 Scourge is out of production.

I'm telling you...why the hell not? It really wouldn't matter too much if it were done by HASTAK or 3rd party. But 3rd party.... it may be a bit pricey but I would so get it anyway especially if it were done by Fansproject! SO HASTAK IF YOUR LISTENING, GET ON THE STICK AND DELIVER US MOTORMASTER BUT A NEMESIS PRIME/SCOURGE WOULD BE GREAT TOO!!

What, RTS? Scourge is already released and sighted at retail and Nemisis Prime I don't believe they will do because in their little NEO-G1 thing that Hasbro's got going on you can just repaint one of the Primes to a Nemisis Prime point, otherwise I don't know if a nemisis prime neo-g1 toy has been released.

I think they'll do it. Repaints save money, and a "Nemesis Prime" figure would be just that: a repaint. They wouldn't have to remold anything in order to have the toy suit people's expectations. While they could certainly jazz it up with some remolding, from a cost-efficiency stand-point, they don't have to.
However, given that we've already seen a new head for this figure (one that looks kinda Ultra-Magnus-y to me) I would expect to see a blue-and-white repaint of this mold sometime in the future, which would also be nice (not as nice as a new Magnus mold, but still...)
I guess the important thing to remember is that chances are good that this mold will eventually be re-used with different mold/paint details, even if it doesn't happen in the current "Classics 3.0" era of Generations/RTS. Don't forget, the Seeker mold that originated in 2006 or whenever is still being used today to produce repaints and re-molds. Hasbro has an least an eye on the big picture.

now see, I don't think the head looks Magnusie at all. When I originally saw the scans, I thought the head looked like the Stegosaur from Beast Wars neo. However, seeing it in person next to the toy itself, I don't think it really is a new head at all. Personally, being the only person to prefer RiD/carRobots over any other line, i'm hoping for a 'Nemesis Prime' repaint.

You might be right. To be honest, I haven't seen it in a while, but to me it did look a bit different from the standard head. It's worth noting, however, that while that Prime's head is obviously Prime, it does take a bit of a different spin... which is something that they could have done for Magnus too. Don't get me wrong, I would much rather see Magnus get his own mold, but I can see them capitalizing on Prime's easy repaints to make a few bucks, can't you?

Hasbro just has to give us a Nemesis Prime from this G2 Prime mold. As others have said, they would be crazy not to. I love NP repaints, and this would be a great one, despite being a bit on the short side. And I really hope it's a retail release, rather than a convention exclusive.

Now that I think about it, he's probably the reason for the original's mis-matched color scheme. Scourge/Black Convoy/Nemesis Prime has almost always been completely black, and so has G2 Laser Prime. From a marketing perspective, having two black trucks represent two totally different characters will get confusing.

Hasbro pass on an easy repaint? I think they'll get around to it, when is hard to tell though.

If your concerned it will take too long, bid on this one. Looks far better than anything Hasbro would mass produce.

Like the classics version, I see them doing this one and making it a Con exclusive, or even a TCC exclusive in the near future.
