Steelreign's Bio
While Steelreign was being granted a personality by Vector Sigma, Vector Sigma received a blast from Decepticon leader Megatron. Despite Megatron's attempt to stop Steelreign's awakening, the process was completed. However, there was a side effect. Steelreign developed an extreme tendency for violence. He quickly opened fire on Megatron, nearly killing him. However, Megatron survived and Steelreign dedicated his existence to finishing the Decepticon leader once and for all. He came close many times, but Megatron was ultimately defeated by Optimus Prime. Even after learning of Megatron's reformatting into Galvatron, Steelreign continued his hunt. His searches have typically resulted in failure... On the rare occasions that Steelreign had confronted Galvatron, he failed to kill him. Steelreign's desire for Galvatron's death would drive him to madness if he had no other enemies to destroy. This is why Steelreign hunts other Decepticons regularly. His methods are brutal. He first makes sure to use his immense firepower to disable his opponents, then tears them apart - slowly - with his massive strength. While the Autobots disapprove of Steelreign's methods, there is little they can do to stop him once he has started his slaughter. Even Optimus Prime has difficulty taking down the behemoth. Steelreign is a force to be reckoned with. To him, killing Decepticons is not a job; it is a hobby.
