Galvatron's Bio
In the distant future, Megatron, along with some of his most loyal Decepticon soldiers, was expelled into the cold void of space and left for dead by the arrogant and treacherous Starscream.
However, unbeknownst to Starscream, Megatron encountered the supremely and infinitely powerful Unicron. More precisely, Unicron sought HIM out with the desire to rid the universe the Autobot Matrix of Leadership.
Unicron gave megatron a chilling Ultimatum: Become my Evil Herald of Destruction or perish. Megatron of course tried to resist, but, soon realized his efforts in that regard were futile at best and foolish at worst. Truth be told, the lure of the tremendous power that Unicron offered him in exchange for this unholy pact proved too irresistibile for the already immensely powerful Megatron.
After he agreed, Megatron was transformed into the exponentially more powerful being known as Galvatron. However, Galvatron is as complicated as he is arrogant, powerful and Ruthless. The one calculation that Megatron failed to account for was that the aquisition of the new endless and infinite power bestowed on him would drive him to the brink of insanity - and beyond.
Initially, Rumors abounded, but, no one knew where Galvatron came from; They only know that he had arrived. He swiftly crushed all opposition to his rule beginning with that treacherous little worm, Starscream. Galvatron alone emerged to re-seize control of the mighty, yet scattered, Decepticon forces.
He formed what was once a loose confederation of Decepticon assassins and warlords and turned it into an army capable of threatening the entire Universe.
His greatest invention was a machine that allowed him to travel through space and time at his whim. However, as time went by, his insanity - and power grew to immeasurable levels., and He began to use this device often and with no regard to the potentially devasting effects that it may reap on the universe itself.
On one of these ill-fated time travel adventures, he encountered his past incarnation, Megatron. Megatron instantly realized the vast potential that this being known as Galvatron could offer if not for his completely unpredictable madness.
Along with Thunderbolt and Shockwave, Megatron devised a diabolical plan to capture and incapacitate Galvatron. Once he accomplished this, he implemented Shockwave's ingenious plan to erase Galvatron's memories and programming and transfer HIS intelligence, memories and most importantly control of his emotional faculties into the immensly more powerful body of Galvatron.
In this new form, Megatron became virtually unstoppable. In addition to his new-found power, he also aquired the circuitry from Teletraan I that allows him to change his alternate forms at will, merely by scanning the object he desires to emulate.
Once his transformation was once again complete, Galvatron devised a much more pervasive plan: Seek out and recruit dissatisfied Autobots to join with him in his mission to conquer the Universe. He determined the surest way to conquer the universe was by combining the forces of the Autobots with the Mighty Decepticons to form a truly unstoppable - and unopposed - Army, rather than waste the time or energon fighting them.
He chose to call this newly formed army the Autocons.
Some Autocons hope another Leader powerful enough to challenge him will emerge, but, most are too afraid of him to even HOPE for somebody better.
