Profile: Rip and Tear are two of the most sadistic mechanoids in the Decepticon Army. The fact that they are fused together only makes them all the more violent as they each feed off the other’s sadistic behaviour. Not long ago, a mission to destroy an Autobot reactor backfired and fused the two warriors together, binding their spark chassis together so that any surgical attempt to separate them will extinguish both sparks. Not willing to lose two good warriors, they were modified so that they could take advantage on their new form. The two of them get along fine, and rarely turn their cruel nature against each other, preferring to combine their lust for causing pain against a single external target, usually an invader to Axiom Nexus or unsuspecting civilian they accuse of committing crimes against the state. They take great pleasure in tearing apart their foe, and are often heard laughing manically while doing so. They much prefer melee combat to ranged fighting. They get great satisfaction from watching others die.
Abilities: Rip ‘n Tear look extremely clumsy, but they can handle themselves with a terrifying finesse. Each of their four hands can use their fingers as mini shuirken launchers, but their main weapon of choice is a pair of extendable autonomous saw blades that have a reach of over 5 meters. They can cause severe damage to anyone closing for close quarters combat, especially if they’re not familiar with Rip ‘N Tear’s combat abilities. The pair possess above average strength and excellent coordination – the need it to maneuver around on their three legs. They transform into a bizarre walking tank, with the shuriken launchers on all sides and the sawblades mounted on a 360 degree turret, there is nowhere that they are not properly defended. The walking tank is capable of traversing almost any type of terrain, from extremely rough to swampy to ice and snow.
Weaknesses: Rip ‘n Tear don’t know when to turn their behavior off. This leads to combat situations where they simply refuse to stop fighting, even if they’re horribly outnumbered. They are most weak against attack from the air.
