BACKGROUND:
Turboflame was created by Megatron during his obsession phase with the Autobots' dominance of the road. After creating the Stunticons with the help of Vector Sigma, he secretly created more "road warriors". He believes that while the Autobots are trying to contain Decepticons such as Turboflame on the road, they'll divert their attention from an aerial assault. Treadware was displeased with Megatron for giving him a stunt car warrior, instead of a soldier with "real" power. Treadware feels that military power will defeat the Autobots, and not with mimmicking current Autobot limitations.
But like a true soldier, Treadware follows Megatron's orders of using Stunticon-like cars to help in combat. With Treadware's attitude towards Turboflame as being a lower-class vehicle, he has left Turboflame mostly on guard duty. Only when missions require a full team, is when Treadware will call upon him to join the battle.
Like the rest of the Stunticons and road warriors, Turboflame is heavily armored. Thus making him more durable than most other Decepticons. Combined with his blinding speed and maneuverability, Turboflame knows that he's a tough nut to crack.
