Technofunk's Bio

Vehicle: Desert Patrol Vehicle

Profile: Beginning his tenure in the autobot faction as a medic Technofunk grew tired of the unending patching up of his comrades. Though, as a new recruit he had no choice in the matter and found solace in human music. Earning him his name. Spending more and more of his time hidden outside music clubs on the planet wishing to leave the fighting and bring this part of human culture to Cybertron. Then a large battle near the Grand Canyon on Earth changed his outlook on everything. Technofunk’s squad was accidentally directed into the middle of a decepticon attack squad hiding out in the canyon. Boxed in by canyon walls and flanked by decepticons he and his squad were mowed down. He struggled to keep his comrades in the fight but soon found himself the only functioning autobot. As his enemies closed in for the final kill, he lunged at the leader, with his knowledge of robot mechanics he was able to tear of the decepticon’s arm but was nearly wiped out by a barrage of brightly colored laser fire and concussion blasts. Then everything went dark.
Found by the Cerebral Assassins who had been sent to rescue the lost squad, he was the only member recovered with signs of life. When he revived in the cr chamber, months had past and he no longer resembled the form he had before the battle. And his arm, apparently the one he had taken off the decepticon, had now replaced one of his own along with the new vehicle from of a Navy DPV (desert patrol vehicle). He now patrols the harsh desert landscapes of the planet vowing, in the twisted logic of a repair specialist, that the best way to save his new comrades from destruction is by total defeat of the decepticons.
Over time, Technofunk has become a brute of a soldier with the analytical mind of a medic. From humble beginnings, his fighting spirit and quiet anger have driven him to emerge from the rank and file autobots into a fierce warrior revered by his comrades for his bravery and will to win no matter the odds.

Abilities: While stationed on Earth he has studied the many fighting styles seen on the planet and soaked in the knowledge like a sponge, mastering many of the different human styles of combat. Possessing superior strength and mobility he has became one of the elite hand-to-hand fighters in the autobot ranks and the bane of many a decipticon attacker.

Weaknesses: What superiority Technofunk possesses in close-quarters combat he is the polar opposite at ranged combat. While his endurance and armor offer some protection, a skilled marksman can frustrate him quite easily and keep him out a battle. While training himself to avoid ranged weapons it is still a skill that he has not mastered and until he can do so remains his one true weakness.
