FUNCTION: SPECIAL OPERATIONS COMBATANT
Profile: A protoform scanning mishap resulted in a Decepticon protoform attaining attributes of Ultra Magnus, yet retaining the Decepticon programming and tempermant. This protoform became Shadow Magnus. Shadow Magnus is arguably the Decepticons best candidate for second in command, leading the newest Decepticon forces, and a much more effective unit than any prior Decepticons or Predacons.
A ruthless and cunning warrior who contains all of Ultra Magnus's strengths and skill, but none of his compassion and mercy, Shadow Magnus's vicious combination of firepower, strength, skill, and battle tactics are almost unsurpassed. An ambitious warrior, with plans to dethrone all in his way, Shadow Magnus is a feared and respected warrior!
Abilities: Renown for his ability to lay down suppressive fire while transporting regiments of troops directly into the fray of battle, Shadow Magnus is prone to going into a "battle frenzy", losing complete control of his primary targeting and reasoning multi-processors, during the heat of battle. Shadow Magnus will indiscriminately fire at will on anyone; ally, foe, or bystander, with brutal efficiency and ruthless results. When he is in control of his senses, Shadow Magnus's favored tactic is an overwhelming barrage of missiles, proton-energy blasts, and strategic collisions focused on a single opponent, only stopping when either he or the battle is finished.
Weaknesses: Shadow Magnus's greatest strength is also his weakness—his temper. Fearless and furious, he charges into battle wildly blasting his Proton-Pack Rifle as his trailer combat deck launches missile barrages overhead, all while speeding threw the battlefield. Yet his rage also makes him impatient, petulant, and easily provoked; it also scares the heck out of his enemy's, subordinates, and everyone else.
Naturally, The Autobots and Decepticons see Shadow Magnus as a threat on just about every level. For once, they agree, and they're both right.
