Helldart knows weapons, he knows what they do, and how they do them. Given the time he could wander thru a battle zone studying the fallen around him and state many of cause and effects of many fatal blows. He can't however explain why he feels like he should be offline.
Before the Void, Helldart was a force on the battle field, always flying non-stop in to engagements and laughing as what he saw as the stupidity of others trying to overcome the effects of the damage they had taken, while picking them off while they couldn't counter back. Unlike many of the troopers Helldart couldn't tell you what happened to himself in the void because he simply isn't aware. He remembers everything going to hell, and then he was back online.
Active, capable, and completely uncaring about almost anything. The changes in his teammates attitudes, appearances or motivation were matters of fact, and didn't bother him, much like everything else. He still followed orders, and acted as a member of the team but the others could tell what he couldn't. Any fire that had existed was gone, his optics were windows to nothingness.
Then one moment changed everything, and made things worse. A small number of the HMW combatants, found themselves filled with power not seen since the great reset, Helldart found himself more powerful than any member of the Troopers has even been.
Entered into the grand tournament, Helldart was an uncaring yet capable fighter, with new power flowing thru his systems like a flare had been set off. Different to the fire once seen in his eyes, that flame took over in battle, and spelling doom for those who faced him.
Then just as suddenly, as with all tournament members, the sudden power that empowered them was gone, and once again his team-mates saw a new change. The member from prior to the reset was fully gone, first replaced with one who had tasted happiness and had it taken away, now with one how had tasted power and seen that as well taken away.
Helldart may not know how to take back what he has lost, but he will not quit as long as he believes he can reacquire both.
