Profile:
Scarab`s tale is a long and twisted one. An Autobot prison ship crashed after an assault, and everyone from the Autobot guards to the Decepticon prisoners were all left to die. Not everyone did. Later when the Mercenaries discovered the ship, they were salvaging whatever they could, since the prisoners' weapons and equipment were always stored in a secure, resilient storage area, leaving them ripe for the plucking, not to mention there were several dead Autobots with working parts that could be used to upgrade their systems. After looting a large amount of weapons, parts and equipment, Nautilus discovered one of the prisoners had survived, but their spark was slowly fading. Nautilus, Adamant, Grimstorm and Mortar set to work to save him. An Insecticon chassis was found about half-intact, and due to their skills, the Mercenaries built a new, fully functional Insecticon body by salvaging parts from the dead Transformers on the ship, both Autobot and Decepticon alike. Transferring the failing spark to a new body, the prisoner made an amazing recovery, and thus, from the wreckage of many deceased Transformers, Scarab was born anew. Some of the parts used to restore him still had some subconscious memory, giving him access to over 30 Transformers worth of skills. From combat, to stealth, to even repairs and surgery skills, Scarab had more skills than he knew what to do with, and he loves it. A now invaluable member of the Mercenaries, Scarab can be counted to pull off any task with flying colors on just about any task put in front of him. A odd quirk from his being assembled from over 30 different Transformers, his voice seems to change to one of the Transformers that comprise his new body, making him extremely disturbing to talk to. Despite this quirk, the Mercenaries trust him with whatever task he's assigned to, they just don't want to get in an extensive conversation with him. Due to the fact that he almost died once, and the Mercenaries saved him, Scarab refuses to fail, and has never done so, since his resolve, knowledge and skill are unrelenting.
Abilities:
Scarab has access to so many skills, it's uncanny. He can preform surgery, disarm and behead an enemy in combat, sneak around undetected, and design a new piece of equipment, all at once. Extremely intelligent and skilled, he is valuable on his own, or on a team. Being comprised of multiple Transformers has access to a large array of self-contained equipment. This can vary from weapons, repair / surgery tools, scanning equipment, to chemical dispensers. Has flight abilities in both robot and insect modes. As an insect, can use a wide array of cyber-venom that can poison, paralyze, or even outright kill an opponent. In insect mode, can shrink to such a miniscule size that he is undetectable by anyone's vision, or any scanning / security equipment, making him virtually invisible to his opponents.
Weaknesses:
Scarab's aforementioned voice changes that happen practically every 5 minutes is extremely unnerving to the other Mercenaries, so they tend to try to avoid talking to him unless it pertains to a mission / task. Other than that, he seems to have no noticeable flaws.
