Having recently secured a special contract from Autobot CENTCOM, Seiger has been allowed to take a small unit and act as an advance guard for the 21ST Marine Expeditionary Unit. Labeled 'Seiger's Savages,' the unit operates on their own with support from the AFS Reliant, the 21ST's Cruiser. Seiger's reasoning for detatching from the 21ST was to better ensure the physical and mental well being of the Civilian Contractors under his command.

Seiger has sent Gear Box to be psychologically evaluated and has already received a replacement. Loadmaster, the replacement operator, was a contractor from the later days of the now defunct Integrated Defense Technologies. He skipped out on the aftermath as he was in the middle of a flight mission at the time.

With leave over the 8TH has been shipped back to the front lines to continue their mission of supporting the regular Autobot Military. Rage Rig and Smasher Devourer in particular are very happy to be going back to the front lines.
