Im not gonna sh*t my pants just yet... THis maybe a bit of a fluke that only one person happened upon one figure. I remember reading a thread from someone saying that they got a pallett of them that said do not display till NOV.22 or something like that.. If thats true then this person may have just gotten lucky and found something that wasnt supposed to be on the shelf yet.. Nonetheless, Ill let you know if I see any!

48.00 dollars-that will better balance out the Pre-Order price. Guess I'll buy two and keep one in the box. It will be interesting to see if this was a fluke or not. At 48.00, less than retail, wouldn't that suggest that the price might be less as a BF special?

So they did change the UPC! Well that explains a lot of the problem. Dang.
Good to see he's out.

EDIT: Just called two Wal-Marts, gave them the UPC, his info came up correctly. Then...here came the bombshell. "He's a non replenishable item. We cannot order more, there are none in the warehouse, none in transit and none in the store. Meaning we got them in and sold out. I'm sorry." I told them both that it was a Wal-Mart exclusive and the one said "Well then that explains why we don't have anymore. We ordered exclusive items in low numbers this year so we wouldn't be overstocked as bad. First come, first serve, anyone who misses out is stuck. Sorry."
I'm wondering if this is all true or not...I'm hoping she's wrong, because if she's right...a lot of people are SCREWED.

Just called all 7 of my local walmarts. For the ones that were willing to look it up for me over the phone... UPC is in the system... None are currently in stock... 15 - 25 ordered for each of them. Shipment expected 4 - 8 weeks

Just checked out my 2 local 24 hour wal-marts and notta. Oh well the hunt is on. And don't worry guys if you don't find Starscream at first. You will be able to get him, just give it some time.

Hmmm, that's interesting. If it's true, I'm going to be a bit happier about the preorder. It's going to be interesting to see how this all pans out.

Yeah I noticed you have him on the stand as with my MP Starscream
The picture of him standing gots me scratching my head because I can't get mine to stand on it's own

I think we all do. Don't feel bad.
I just called a third Wal-Mart. The guy said "Even though it shows up as not on file, that doesn't mean we don't have any. We could have an entire case full of them sitting on the shelves, but if no one filed or scanned them in, we can't see them on the Telzone. The best chance of finding this item is to actually come to the store, check the shelves and then have them check it again, in person. Sooner or later, you'll find it."
This is not the first time I've heard of unscanned items hitting the shelves. So this sounds like good news people.
EDIT: Someone over at TNI's forums found it as well. 12, in fact. (Doesn't post his/her location though.)

I was at my local Wal-Mart last night and didn't see him, nor a price tag, nor any space to put him. I'm gonna check another Wal-Mart that's by my job to see if they have any.
