Some variants have been discovered with the Transformers Movie Real Gear toys. The Japanese versions feature movie scenes on their tiny screens.

Japanese versions:
Longview features a picture of Bumblebee.

Spy Shot features a picture of Optimus Prime.

Speed Dial features a picture of the Autobot symbol with a blue background.

The Japanese versions also come with a Japanese flyer showing the first wave Movie products that are available. On the opposite side the flyer features a Transformers Chronicle along with pictures of the Sports Label and Music Label Transformers.

More Bots. More News. More Awesome.

Better idea than what Hasbro did.

Movie Scenes make more scence than cybertron ones. Also the times are diffrent than the US ones. ours say 7:47 those say 8:04. I want G1 Scorponok.

Trust Takara to do something right. I agree with others; the movies scenes should have been used for some of the real gear, not Cybertron.

It's not worth importing them over something like that. Just peel off the crappy stickers from the Hasbro version, 'shop something up yourself, print it out, and glue it on.

I like the stickers a little better this way, but not enough so that I'm going to act on it.

I was just thinking that but i suck at doing that. I can make PSP walpapers and thats it. Would anyone be willing to make pics that can go on the real gear guys? If at all possible add the HUD on the ones that have it. Like on Zoomout put the Bat meater, time and record and power symbols.

I almost bought some real gear today at wal-mart, but passed in favor of Jazz, the national pokedex and some pop.

I agree. Maybe Real Gear was intended to get released during Cybertron?

This time I like 7:47 better. Is 7/4/7 still considered the release date for theaters? It'd be a reference to that.

Me too! Does this chronicles thing mean their going to reissue Scorponok? Because I'd love to at least buy it from Action HQ, even if it is sure to set me back about a c-note.

I agree, the movie scenes were the way to go. Maybe Hasbro was trying to movie some of that terrible Cybertron overstock.

You're right. 7/4/07 was the original release date in the U.S. and 8/4/07 is the release date in Japan. Clever man you are.

It's Takara's term for Transformers history.
