Wow....really off the beaten path on this one. It will take along time to get used the style of artwork.

I guess I have to wait for a few years because here in Holland they are always so late with these new cartoons :( And then they dont show them on the internet as well :(

Its just not fair!

What the hell happened to Optimus Prime's proportions?

And what I forgot to add is: new chararters? I really hope its not like a new Ironhide (Energon) and so on... If so I think its going to be a crappy cartoon. Everything that came after Beast Wars turned out to be so soft...

OK, I think I buy the Cybertron series to watch something in 2008...

Sweet! They finally gave Death's Head his own show!
...ah smeg, that's Prime...

Well, I can't say I'm surprised considering this is Cartoon Network we're talking about here. I figured the designs were gonna look like ass. :SICK:

Gimme back my anime Transformers plz. >_>;

EDIT: And in hindsight I can't help but laugh in the general direction of all those folks who constantly glitched and moaned for a TF series made in a Western country because they couldn't stand the Japanese series'... Well, you guys got what you wanted. Happy now? :P

Reminds me of Clone Wars General Grievous...

It looks odd, but like the movie designs, we'll have to get used to it. Realllllllly trying to shock the fandom lately aren't they?

Good question! His head is freakin' huge!

I'll wait to see some more pics before I pass my final judgement, but this is bad, even for concept art (if that's even what it is). Plus, what the heck is up with the ultra lame "animated" title? Weren't the TF series always animated? Maybe we're just supposed to forget all about them.

What will it take to get a decent TF show on the air again? Let's just hope the writing is excellent. Maybe there is hope yet.

It wouldn't be so bad if everything didn't "flow" into everything else. It makes Prime look like he's in spandex rather than a robot with different parts.

Well, I kinda saw this coming. You figure if this is coming from the people who do Teen Titans & The Batman, this is what we would get. Although I think this could be promising. This face of Optimsu even looks like a David Kaye voice. I think the rest of them will be interesting, as long as the story & plots don't suck. The toys will definately be interesting......very interesting indeed.....yeesss

Oh sweet primus on a tiny red pogo stick, that's the most retarded-looking animated pic i've ever seen.. :?

Then again it's just my initial reaction. >_>;

:? One side of me likes it because at first glimpse you know this is Optimus Prime. But the other side of me hates it because I just don't like that kind of design.

How...angular.

Man, whatever kid trips and falls on one of these things is going to bleed out within 3 minutes. That's a lot of pointy edges.

Seriously, you could lose an arm in there.

Ya know, it wouldn't be SO bad if they reduced the size of Prime's jaw. As it is - blech! His jas is bigger than the rest of his head. Annime-tylized I can accept, mut mega-bad proportions just make him look.... bloated.

Wow I don't know what to say about this...
Did anyone notice it looks like Prime is wearing Super hero spandex underwear?
Are they really gonna try and imitate Super heroes? Sorry but more Robot metal, less super hero spandex. I would prefer something more serious but I will be interested to see how this thing turns out.

What the heck is Optimus doing with Wonder Woman's panties on?! Is this Hasbro's second attempt to destroy the Transformers fandom or what? Dang I want RID animation or Beast Wars quality back. Enough to turn someone emo, seriously.

Imagine that, Cartoon Network made TFs look like all the other crappy characters they show on TV now; and I don't just mean on CN. Thankfully Cybertron looked like the toys because that OP is hideous. And people thoght movie designs were disgusting.

OMG What happened?

It looks like the rest of the horribly animated shows on Cartoon Network

I thought Prime was a fire truck

Is it just me or does anyone else feel violated by this atrocity? I feel rather insulted that Hasbro would conceive that this concept would be accepted by the general public let alone the Transformers community.

I wanted to see the japanese series anyway.

The good thing: They got to make transforming toys to the line, and these is a G1 design. And, they can't make toys so bulky as this drawing. The bad thing: No comment...

God DAMMMIT I hate that style of animation. I know American animators are trying to carve out their own niche and move away from anime inspired designs but this style of animation just looks like absolute SHIT.
