Even with the Autobot symbol on the back??? Cause that'd be sweet.

Looks for the price tag...

*EDIT*

Of the model GMC Topkick 6500 MSRP: $43840-$57940.. That is regular models, not this new one that resembles Ironhide.

I just saw a red one yesterday on the way to work. It was probably a custom, though. Damn shame I didn't have my camera.

Too expensive, considering I already own Ironhide for $20.00

It's a nice vehicle, don't get me wrong, but when it costs more than some houses, it's purely for status.

I saw the paper work in one of my dealers offices for this, he told me it didn't make sense to sell this type of truck in our area, then I walked him through the movie and he understood!

(for those who don't know I work in auto advertising)

Shit that thing is like a tank! If it has the Autobot emblem, i might start saving! Unless GM rolls out with the Bumblebee Camaro

Seconded, I want a house for that cheap.

I would love to own that "tank", I mean truck. I saw a pic of a Topkick next to a Hummer and it dwarfed it! The only problem would be the price tag. I checked truck selling websites and the price for a Topkick like Ironhide costs anywhere between $45k and $85k. If I had one I would have to sell my cars, move out of my house and have my family and I live in it. I can still dream though.

That is awesome! I would love to own one of those, but it has to have the Autobot symbol. At the very least I think the car companies should make special Transformers vehicles available. You know with Autobot/Con symbols and what not.

Greenville Pennsylvania.

And the GMC Topkick in the movie was once estimated at $90,000.00

The unmodified, general release is around $50-60,000.00

That's why I said the house is cheaper than the truck. House values around here are pathetic.

Technically, Ford didn't make Barricade.

Saleen did. Barricade's body styling and changes are just enough to actually consider him a non Ford product.

I'm not sure they were able to secure a license from Ford anyway. Saleen has the rights to that body style and make that they used for Barricade.

Saleen also created Bumblebee apparently. (I read it somewhere, they had pictures of him and Barricade together and both had the Saleen plate on the back.)

So? I have somewhere around 600 TF toys....some people have a lot more. So you could say that anybody that is into TF toy collecting is doing it for nothing more than Penis Extension.

......Kinda makes you wonder about Getter Dragun, though..... :-?

While that comes off as bitching, that is kinda funny if you know about how Gene Simmons hawks Kiss stuff....

Anyway on topic, cool truck but I'll probably never own one.

The lighter's already in existence. Zippo (located in Bradford, Pennsylvania) made a set of two (Autobot and Decepticon) for the Japanese market as a tie-in for the film. They run about $95-105.00 a piece.

You are indeed correct, and I misspoke. Either way, Saleen had their hand in it, and Barricade is still their creation, not Ford's. (It's a shame that the original company hasn't made anything even half as cool as a designer...)

no the muffin, I can't, sorry.
This is my maximum level of bitching.
besides, you know that was some funny s***.
The reference made you laugh, even if you did not agree.
I would have made a more sophisticated reference, but I left my "Dennis Miller's big book of obscure historical references" in my other pants pocket.
