Possible Transformers Movie DVD Release Dates?

Reports are coming in from several Transformers fan sites that Paramount has given some international release dates for the Transformers Movie on DVD and HD-DVD.

Zonadvd.com states the DVD release date in Spain is November 22, 2007. See the report here.

Thetransformers.net and Transformersthemovie.com states the DVD release date in the UK is December 3rd, 2007. See the report here and here.

No word yet on a North American release date.

Front paged and credited the confirmed reports, but the release date in the initial post is not confirmed (and doesn't even sound likely), so please only pay attention to the confirmed release dates in the UK and Spain.

It'll be out just in time for Christmas with a billion different limited versions I bet.

Some that are just the movie, some with a bonus disc, a collectors box with notes and cells and whatnot, and maybe even some with a bonus figure, or a shirt.

But, only time will realy tell, still, I'm betting heavy on the obvious Christmas release.

Pirates 3 is coming in late December/Christmas. a movie that opens after that would dictate a similar launch window than earlier.

Especially if they're right in the discussion of more content from the film being on the DVD (Duhamel's hinted "G1 cut" and the Orci revealed "School House" scenes)

Just looked on play.com, they've not got it listed yet. On a related note, Beast Machines season 2 is listed as coming out on 19/11/2007 in the UK :D

Im sure the movie will be released here some time in december. For the holiday. Plus it only took king kong about 120 days after it left the theaters to go on DVD so im sure TF will either be out sooner than that or about the same time. The only way it wont be out this year is if paramount decides it'll do better sales at the beginning of 2008. Id say there is a good chance for a mid december release.

The usual DVD release for movies is about 3 to 4 months after the flick leaves the main theaters. So, it could be sometime between October and December.

This DVD release is a really good excuse for me to finally get that widescreen HDTV I've been drooling over.

OK, it's a pretty flimsy excuse to get it.

Ok, I'm grasping at straws.

My wife just said "no". :-((

Movie will be in abundant supply. This is Dreamworks, or whatever production marketing it.

It's not Hasbro marketing the movie.
