WHAT: Paramount Home Entertainment celebrates the DVD debut of the worldwide smash hit TRANSFORMERS with a special guest appearance by one of the film’s BIGGEST stars—Bumblebee! A full-size, 18-foot tall, 8,200 pound traffic-stopping robot will greet passers-by in the courtyard of the West Hollywood Gateway shopping center on the corner of La Brea and Santa Monica Blvd. This actual prop from the blockbuster film requires a forklift and 10 ton crane to assemble and set up and he will make for an extraordinary visual.

WHO: Bumblebee, the brave Autobot who turns into a Camaro from the year’s most anticipated DVD, TRANSFORMERS, arriving October 16.

WHEN: Tuesday, October 16th starting at 7:00 a.m., through Sunday, October 21st

WHERE: West Hollywood Gateway shopping center

That's the actual Bumblebee that appeared in the movie. He was used in the scene where the Sector Seven guys transported him back to their base.

Personally I didnt like that scene at all, it was far too obvious that it was a real life model and not a cgi model.

lol, actually there WAS a guard there. He looked bored of BB, and was more interested in watching the people who were going "WOAH!!!" hehe.

if you all recall this is the same BB i put up pics for in July for the LA premiere. Your pix are better snipe - you were able to get closer and take your time. I shoulda took more. Were they giving out any TF freebies nearby????

Sadly no! : ( There was only a bored guard and people oogling the BB.

It was on the property of the West Hollywood mall, so it was basically treated as a gaurded mall decoration. XD
