Dreadwing of thetf.net has posted some screenshots and a mini review of the upcoming Transformers battle game to be released on Hasbro's NetJet System.

Graphic wize probally little better then the nintendo 64 that was once out but loved the G1 content

I played meg in the fight duel section... G1 meg and he could transform into a gun for a shot then tf back. I fought

G1 Prime
Movie prime
Masterpiece Starscream
Movie BB

It seems that Masterpiece Starscream was used as the base model for the G1 Starscream model.

Check out the Screens below:

I smell an N64 BW TM game all over again.
3D fighting games are hard to pull off well, at least in my opinion. I guess I played too much Street Fighter II as a kid...

Does it play like Power Stone, a really simplified fighting system?

Hmm... Throw some A/E/C and BW/BM Tfs into the mix and this could be fun.

the details on the fighters are great looking but i will be dissapointed if its only 4 characters to be playable whats netjet?

is it for system or the internet pc gaming thing and how do we get it street fighter and mortal kombat games i like this could be the best tranformers game based on those 2 games.

this looks kinda interesting...like "hope to God they have a demo of it in the store, or hope your kid cousin has it, so that you don't actually have to drop cash on it to see how it really is" kind of interesting. The graphics from the screenshots are a little Playstation 1 -ish. But yet I think the textures on the TFs and The Ark especially are kind of cool, but rough. I may be rating it too hard, because I'm STILL holding out for that "end all be all" G1 console game...

"It's called Battle UNIVERSE. 4 characters is hardly a Universe!"

I think there will be more characters these were the only ones that the user used in his trial version of the game, kinda like with Tekken demo's you normally only get 4-6 characters.

I never ever even heard of Netjet...
What kind of system is that?

According to the chaps on 2005, Netjet is a USB key that stores a game- you plug it into your PC and away you go. From the looks of this I don't think the specs will be very demanding.

Also...

"Join the struggle for supremacy and play as one of 10 TRANSFORMERS characters, going head to head in five different battle arenas!"

http://www.hasbro.com/tiger/netjet/defa ... t_id=20627

So there's 10 characters, not 4.

I wish there was more like around 20. And this is kind of expensive. $20 for the controller and then $10 for this, Plus these keep saying some crap about buying 3 more games or something. Anyway it might still be worth getting just because it's Transformers. ^_^

Ah, I remember seeing that in the Game Department at Toys R Us. Another one of those things that won't do so well against the other consoles. The thing has 3 other games on it as I recall watching the video so there will be this game and three others that are unlocked online. Can't say if the other 3 are TF related, they can be random.

ZZZZZZZZZZzzzzzzzZZZZZZZzzzzzz,

Looks boring, Fighting games are the cheap way out of producing a worth while game that actually has a great plot, characters and game mechanics. Just another way to squeeze money out of an already mega franchise.
