Shia Lebeouf: "There's nothing cool about getting arrested for stupid stuff at my age. But it keeps happening to me. I could pretend that I find it all highly amusing, but I'd be lying.
"It's deeply embarrassing. I decided a long time ago to stop doing stupid things, so clearly I've still got some work to do on myself. I'm not anonymous any more.
"Now, I light up a cigarette in the wrong place and overnight I'm the Al Capone of misdemeanors. What I've got in terms of acting is too important for me to jeopardize."
As previously reported here, Shia was accused of trespassing in November 2007 at a Chicago Walgreen's at 4 AM, but the misdemeanor charges were eventually dropped. A warrant was also issued for his arrest in March 2008 for failing to appear in court over a citation for smoking in a prohibited place. Shia pleaded guilty to the charges and was fine $500.00 for the citation.

Until he plays a bad guy of sorts, leave the bad rap stuff be. Work on your good image instead of your bad, or they probably won't throw much your way. Of course, these are not that bad considering most of Hollywood.

In the likes of the rest of the hollyweird bad boys and bad girls these incidents were nothing, I'm not saying he should just get away with it just pay your fines and get it over with and try and learn from it all.
It's not like he's britney spears or paris hilton or many others in the press constantly for negative publicity and really retarded things they keep doing so in the long run it will all just be forgotten and should be as well.

The guy has done 2 projects back to back with Spielbergs name attached to them in one place or another and is slated for more.
Whether he likes it or not, the kid may as well have Jimminy Cricket riding around on his shoulder acting as his conscience because Steven isn't going to let him get away with squat if he wants to continue working on his projects. Besides, like it was already mentioned, he's no Paris or Britney (Thank Primus) and I think he has his head on starighter than those two ever will.

Personally i think it's ridiculus! Tresspassing at 4 a.m. at Walgreens, smoking in a prohibited place! How can you tresspass at Walgreens at 4 a.m.? Walk through the parking lot! If anything the smoking in a prohibited place i can see depending on where it was at or if it was inside somewhere. But really though the authorities should have something better to do than that. You play you pay i guess.
