| Re: Transformers: ROTF nominated for 11 SPIKE "Scream" Awards (988589) Posted by Hard Hacker on September 2nd, 2009 @ 4:02pm CDT The nominees for those rewards sound really half-arsed if you ask me. It's as if they just said "Oh, she's on the poster, she's the best actress then". | |

| Re: Transformers: ROTF nominated for 11 SPIKE "Scream" Awards (988633) Posted by Swiftknife24 on September 2nd, 2009 @ 5:52pm CDT Megan Fox - Best Actress? In what? The pre-school Nativity Play? As far as I can tell, she ran, posed, pouted and looked plastic; that's all she does, isn't it? As for Shia...He's a star, let's face it; he's not an actor, he's a movie star. Michael Bay should be in the category for best ACTION director. Who the kriffing hell decided on these nominees? The only one I agree with is best F/X! (Maybe Isabel Lucas, too, but she's personal preference! | |
| Re: Transformers: ROTF nominated for 11 SPIKE "Scream" Awards (988644) Posted by Chaoslock on September 2nd, 2009 @ 6:07pm CDT Voted, but I only voted in 3 categories for RotF:
In the other categories, RotF falls. At the best Fight Scene they chose the Prime vs. Fallen battle, that was like 1 minute??? If the nominators chose the forest battle, that could have got my vote. | |

| Re: Transformers: ROTF nominated for 11 SPIKE "Scream" Awards (988888) Posted by original sin on September 3rd, 2009 @ 12:21am CDT Why the hell aren't Nelson Ellis and Alexander Skarsgård nominated for breakout performance? Nelson Ellis as Lafayette on True Blood is one of the greatest performances on TV or anywhere else. Alexander as Eric is just amazing. He is the walking, breathing Eric from the books. Also, he should play Thor. He is perfect for it and anyone that says other wise needs to go die in a fire | |
| Re: Transformers: ROTF nominated for 11 SPIKE "Scream" Awards (988899) Posted by Pontimax 01 on September 3rd, 2009 @ 12:51am CDT They nominated Prime vs Fallen for best fight to the death scene, when honestly it should have been Prime vs Megatron/Starscream/Grindor as the contender. Much better to the death scene, and even includes more death, counting Grindor. And I also think ROTF deserved a nomination for Holy S***! Scene of the Year, because the same scene (forest) had nearly everyone in my theater saying Holy Sh*t in their seats. | |
| Re: Transformers: ROTF nominated for 11 SPIKE "Scream" Awards (989156) Posted by agentdc7 on September 3rd, 2009 @ 12:23pm CDT Rather than actually nominating, it seems more like they're just trying to fill spaces of the nominations cards with whatever was most popular so they actually have a show. This defeats the purpose IMHO. It's almost feels more like choosing the "lesser evils" awards. I'll semi agree with FX. I also agree w/ Chaoslock and Pontimax 01 that the best fight to the death scene should have been the forest fight. The fallen fight was too quick. The one I disagree with the most is Megan Fox for best actress. Are you freakin kidding me!? But then again, I was expecting this nonsense. | |
| Re: Transformers: ROTF nominated for 11 SPIKE "Scream" Awards (989346) Posted by 5150 Cruiser on September 3rd, 2009 @ 4:44pm CDT Guys, no need to look at the awards show for what it is. This is not the Oscars were talking about. Its the Spike awards for crying out loud. The actors are being nominated because ROTF is a kick ass action flick. A "Guy" movie in every sense of the word. Thats the wholepremisis of the "Spike channel" in the first place. Though i do like it cause its more real world as people can vote for who/what they like about said movie instead of a series of "critics" picking there favorites. | |
