In a video posted on YouTube.com, Virgil Coffman, a 101 year old man living in Illinois, is reported to have purchased a new 2010 Transformers Bumblebee Edition Chevrolet Camaro.
"Best thing about it is the handling of it."
Mr. Coffman stated that he loved the appearance of the car and new that it was the one he wanted, having owned over 40 cars in his 101 years of life.
I don't know about you Seibertronians, but if I make it to 101 years old, I want to be just like Virgil Coffman.

Sweet. Senior Citizens are actually VERY cool people if you just sit and listen to them. My Nephew certainly thinks so. This is just more proof of that. Way to Go, Virgil!

That is great! Good for him. I hope that if I make it to 101 I am still in the kind of shape to handle a car, let alone a 400 hp Camaro. Congrats Virgil.

Are none of you terrified? Doesn't the idea of a 101 YEAR OLD man behind the wheel of a 400+ horsepower sports car send little chills down your spine?

Big time. I hope it's part of a comedy sketch.

It's been going the rounds since mid-November. Nevertheless, nothing but respect for someone who's kept his passion to that age

this is something I cant stand when someone who shouldn't be driving owns a performance vehicle like this its a total waste...its not a cool story when you got someone that cant drive driving a car which will probably be in a wreck when he looses vision or just drifts into other lanes and hits some innocent...you think its cool just wait and see..majority of accidents are caused by elderly drivers who have no business being behind the wheel of a car. and yeah when I get to a certain point in life where I shouldn't be driving id stop better be safe then sorry...and I love driving my mustang.

I really hope that man doesn't actually drive the car but instead keeps it as sort of a collectible. Wonder what other kinds of cars that guy's had over his life.
On an off-topic note relating to the dealer...I am desperately trying to find a Chevy dealer (in MI) that has a Camaro that can be test driven... So far, I haven't been allowed near the cars because all the ones they have out are already called for. If someone knows more about this, just PM me please, thanks.
