Good enough to hold you Screamer fans over until the Voyager class figure arrives in the Transformers Prime main line launching early next year? Check out the images mirrored below.

This Starsrceam mold is growing on me. After seeing some really good poses in the videos from Peaugh and Vangelis that this figure can pull off that are really accurate to the character itself, i might just pick this figure up.

I just can't stand the legs though!! It's pretty close to a deal breaker for me. Those feet are just wretched to me.

Megs is an easy pass. They really have to start making better alt modes for Megatron.

G2 had the right idea in making Megs a tank. It give him lots of mass, a built in cannon, and it's a war machine. I wish the tank was his default alt mode the way Prime's is a truck.

i dont see what peoples fascination with this guy is, the transformation looks good and the articulation looks great but when i see him starscream isnt what comes to mind and the alt mode is half assed. Would be good for kit bashing though.

These are the second set on images where his spine/chest is curved inward... is his back impossible to make straight(er)?

He looks awesome. I'm very afraid that he's going to be a rubberfest, though. There's a voyager coming? I'm gonna hold out for that.

Ive never watched an episode of TF Prime. Im not saying I wont watch it, I just prefer watch the whole series at once but not all parts of this series are available to own yet. With that being said, I must ask why did they give Starscream a chick's body ???

It is extremely feminine for some reason, I also get an Ed Grimmly vibe from this pic:

Sexy! But for some reasons, every time I see Starscream kinda standing straight up with his hips kinda popping out a bit, I have flashbacks of a very feminine second in command from France who tried to usurp "her" leader in a certain movie, but eventually is killed by "her" reconstructed leader. ;)

In case you don't get the reference, I'm talking about the original G1 Starscream. When the 1986 movie aired in France, he was dubbed as a female. Shrapnel shared a similar fate.

Yeah this Screamer just doesn't fly dare I say. I think it's great that his alt mode is a F-16 like Falcon-ish. But like most have said there seems to be a obvious fem vibe going on and I hate open hands on any TF but here they gave him these Nosferatu like hands...wtf?! :VEHI:

WANT! WANT! WANT! WANT! WANT!!!!

No, he does not have a girly look (effeminate, yes, though). He has a Machiavellian look. 8)

I wanted this figure in the first place, but now I see he's capable of facepalming?

WANT. NOW.

I liked this mold from the start. It's different and the plane mode seems closer than most with little kibble. I don't particularly like this as Starscream, but it is still impressive to me. I can see leaving it as is or customizing to be a fembot. Definately on the shopping list.

Every time I see pictures of all the Prime toys, I'm continually impressed. The engineering is simply astounding; the show accuracy in both modes is probably the best we've had so far. And I know I wasn't the only one who saw the show when it first came out and thought to myself "yeah they look great, but how the heck are they going to turn that into plastic?"

Bravo, Hasbro. My hat goes off to you. :APPLAUSE:

I still stand by what I've said in previous posts though, and as amazing as it all looks the aesthetic just isn't for me. Oh well, it's just one more set for someone else to pick up >:oP

That's the same thing we said about Animated, too, and they didn't do a bad job with those at all.

One thing about the skinny body...I tend to view it as the kind of physique that slithers and sneaks, and is likely to backstab or hide in the shadows waiting to pounce, complete with claws. I think the body suits his personality well. I can't tell if they gave him the smirk..if they have, he'd be perfect. I second the "bravo". Waiting on the SDCC and NYCC exclusives to arrive...the pics made me cave.
