Brian wrote:Thanks to everyone who has processed their registration. We know there are some issues but overall, it is not too bad for code that has been bombarded today.
Known issues:
1. The invoice counting system failed and there are many, duplicate numbers. The numbers have NO meaning to you. Because of the duplicate numbers, the first 100 cutoff was in the mid 1030s. We did not send these numbers to the cc folks so don't worry that your number may be the same as someone elses.
2. Some of you have not been getting emails. They may come later today or maybe not at all. Email is not a 100% communication system. When your registration is approved (after a human verifies it, you the system will send a second email. This may not happen for several days.
3. Some of you have not been getting member pricing. A programmer is looking at the accounts to see what the issue is. Please do not, register if you are getting incorrect pricing as that makes more work for the admin dept and we may not be able to get credits back to you for a week or more.
4. Non-attending sets will not be available until next week. There is no inventory in the online system and that's why it says sold out. We will send out a notice when we populate the inventory. We are holding sets back for this group as well as some of the loose figures and we have ordered 50 more 1st 100 pins to let the non-attending members get them.
5. As we have many issues to clean up, please don't call or email unless you absolutely have too. We are aware of many of the issues and will be working to clean them up. However, the more phone calls and emails we get, the longer this will take.
Thanks for your patience and support.

There's 50 "1st 100 pins" set aside for non-attendees. The number of Iacon set has to be greater then that. And the number system started at 1000 offset by duplicates so it looks like +500 have signed up already OR set the counter to add without actually following through on the order.

the gremlin is fitting for the front-paged version of...whatever the last update was, since it seems to be full of gremlins, anyway.
yeah. like i said. full of gremlins. gremlins that really make pigs of themselves after midnight.

Man, what a cluster F on my end. Nothing Funpubs fault, but check this:
I end up working an hour and a half extra, otherwise I would have been home when registration opened, so work probably made me miss the custom class.
I try to use my netbook, see that registration is open, and it crashes as my wife had opened some facebook message with a virus.
I run down to the basement, turn on the desktop, and the monitor blinks out and starts smoking (not a good sign).
I was freaking out and almost said screw it, but my wife's old mac fired right up and I got registered.
I know none of you care, but it makes me feel better ranting it out like that!
EDIT: Oh yeah, and still no conformation email, do I have to check the fan club forums?

Dang dude, hate to hear about the woes. If you need any walkthroughs on fixing any of them let me know. I run a small comp. build/repair business.

So, registration IS up!? F*k it!!! Im still trying to decide weather or not to go. If you've seen my thread about this, Botcon ends 1 day before my birthday, and I have a choice to go to Botcon, or get a laptop, but if I do go to Botcon theres still a chance Ill get one, just not the $1000 one that I wanted.

If you do not go to the convention, I will take it as a personal insult to me; that you avoided it because in fact you hate me.
Don't make me track you down in FL and drag you out to BotCon. I'm from O-Town son. I've mastered the 5 o'clock I-4 dance. You better be there.
With a present for me.

Right after I read this I noticed my son had grabbed a Gizmo doll(NECA I think, it's fluffy) and given it a shower because his hair needed washed.

For those of you who will need add ons or have invoicing issues, we will be working on these over the next week.
