So it's a non-transforming figure with less detail than the tranforming version... and let me guess, it only costs three times more than the transforming version. If they removed all the articulation and cut the legs off, they could call it a "bust" and sell it at double the price.

"Less detail"? Whaddya mean "Less detail"?! Look at all that complex sculpting all over his body! His crotch is more detailed than the 1988 brick.GuyIncognito wrote:So it's a non-transforming figure with less detail than the tranforming version... and let me guess, it only costs three times more than the transforming version. That thing looks slick, love the design of the God Cannon, less enthused about the lack of a second rifle, and utterly confused by the inclusion of a katana.

At least Hasbro didn't charge $100 each for Action Masters.

can we all agree that, yes theyre TF characters that dont transform. yes its expensive. yes its very niche. can we leave out all the rage involved in those views?
i think super deformed anime stuff is stupid. i dont enter every thread about them and rage about how much i dislike them.
action masters rabble rabble rabble. we get it.

It's like some people think $100 for an action figure is never heard of... I mean Play Arts? Hot Toys? Figmas? LOl Japan's been charging $100 for action figures for a while now...

If I had any familiarity with Masterforce at alI I would be all over this. As it stands, it's an awesome figure I wish I could justify buying.

a better comparison would be like Revoltech, but this is more like
a finely sculpted statue that looks poseable

I posted these already in the MP Rerelease thread because they feature the new MP-10 Vector Sigma but I think they show how good a figure Alpha Trion is. Since the character doesn't transform anyway the lack of altmode just means they could make the figure as true to the cartoon a possible. I highly recommend him at least and it does make me interested in other figures but I don't see myself getting them. Trion's stand does work great for the Vector Sigma orb itself as a plus.

So, the first three they make look super cartoon accurate, then their God Ginrai goes into a completely different direction and is all "Super Stylized Super Gundam Hyper Action" like with details on details on detailed details.
That thing is just sick and incredibly awesome.

Good point, but after looking at the few Victory pics with him on tfwiki, they don't really seem to match up.
