The blades on the mechtech weapon are different. Starscream's aren't curved like that.

Any of you guys have Starscram and Sideswipe?
'swipe can barely hold those weapons, how is this going to work?
He doesn't have mech-tech ports on his arms, so you cant attach them together or separately. He can't really hold the combined weapon except at really odd angles, and they end up looking more like a very awkwardly held staff as opposed to a sword. He can hold the single non-gimmick blade well enough in his left hand, and can awkwardly hold the gimmick park also in his left hand but that's about it. How is this supposed to work?
You can't just slap any old mech-tech on a retail toy! Yes it's a fun 'swapping weapon' gimmick when you have lots of them and can go "This combination looks cool. This one doesn't. This one does. This one doesn't." at no extra cost, but you can't just give a retail figure any old weapon. This is one case where 'Sideswipe + more swords' doesn't work.

I like it. I was hoping for a cool repaint of that mold, cause I don't want "prototype gray" Sideswipe.

the blades have an added angle at the end.

Hm, looks kinda cool, I prefer the ROTF versions though, but I like that they gave him a Giant Sword...to add to more swords...? o_O
