Thanks to Kanrabat and Megrimlock78, we have been informed that there is a 30% off sale for all Transformers 19.99$ cdn and above. This sale is Canada wide and also found on their website. This is linked with Autobot August, which means that the promotion was accompanied by a discount afterall. Does this mean there will be one in the US as well? Please let us know if ever it is the case.

So does this mean that they've cleverly rigged it so that the Combiner Wars deluxes are NOT included in this 'sale'? Not that I live in Canada, but TRU's prices on the CW deluxes are the reason why TRU is one of the only places where you can actually find them on the shelf.

In the US, one CW deluxe at TRU is $19.99. That's over $20 after taxes - for a deluxe! Small wonder people are shopping elsewhere.

In canada, Toysrus has the cheapest prices for deluxes. Hence why they are lower than 19.99 (they are 13.64$ US) and thus not on sale.

Not really. The only reason why they cost so low here is because of our exchange. They are 17.99$ cdn (which is 13.5$ US) but in canada, 1$ cdn will get you as much as 1$ US in the states. So prety much, in comparison to the economies, deluxes cost the same in Canada as the US. So technically, they are very cheap for you, but we dont realize it because our pay and our savings are worth less as well. However, Walmart is charging more than Toysrus right now and I hope your Walmarts dont get inspired too much.

Actual inventory:

They do have leaders, voyagers and legends though (nothing past wave 2 for the legends) but it was super surprising to me that there are no deluxes in the computer inventory for any store in quebec (as I was told).

I do think the protectobots have not reached saturation yet and will be back one day and I am certain we will see groove eventually. It took blackjack a loooooooooong time to come so I expect the same fro groove. Although I have totally given up hope on generations arcee ever showing up. It has been a year since released online.

Hey I live in the Niagra Ontario and I cant seem to find any transformers in retail, havent checked any toysrust's yet, but the wal marts in my area have basicly 0 transformer toys, and i cant find any cw figures in any retail stores (agian havent checked toyrust) anyone know what goung on with tfs in st.cats ON?

Its the same in quebec too. What hapened is Hasbro has secific shelf space at Walmart and since the last week or 2, the new star wars toys came out and took over a lot of the shelf space. Its the new hot thing and there isnt anything new coming out for transformers aside from wave 4 of CW. Today they just had some minicons, a Mega Optimus and 1 Ultra Magnus and that was it. It being just 1 verticle column of pegs, you might hae missed it.

Check toysrus, they are moe dedicated to the TF brand and have a higher inentory per capita.

Since Target's tragic end in Canada, there has been a question of how Canada will be obtaining Target exclusive Transformers toys. We have already seen Walmart carrying the Platinum Coneheads G1 reissue and now it is Toysrus' turn to be carrying what is only found at Target in the US. Toysrus Canada now has the Robots in Disguise One Step Collection 6 pack with the exclusive Optimus figure that isn't sold outside of this set. This set is available online and in store. The listing itself still has an image of this box set with the Target logo found on the box.

The big Stomp and Chomp Robots in Disguise Grimlock redeco is also a Toysrus exclusive in Canada thanks to the new listing on their site.

Finally, Walmart has lowered its price on the Robots in Disguise Warrior Class figures. Walmart is usually below Toysrus' prices so it was odd that both stores were selling these toys at around 19.99$ cdn. Walmart has since dropped the price to the more customary 17.97. It is unknown when exactly the price drop occurred. Walmart's Combiner Wars Voyager and Deluxe figures are still above Toysrus' prices though, which is unprecedented.

I saw that exclusive one-steps 6-packs online yesterday. I didnt bother to report it because I didnt think it was important. However, since it's a Target Exclusive in the USA, it's great new for us cannucks. This way, we will not have to rely on scalpers for the most interesting exclusives. Especially since Hasbro finally have pulled it's head out of it's ass and provide multi-lingual packaging for EVERY TFs they release. Exclusives or not.

Combiner Wars Wave 4 Deluxe are out at Walmart and in big numbers. Every Walmart from Mississauga to Burlington has at least two or three cases on the pegs. Lots of Prowl, Sunstreaker, Mirage, & Ironhide at all locations.

What's interesting is that they are all packed with US Comics. It's not the first time this has happened with CW in Canada as Wave 2 was briefly available at Walmart with US Comics as well.

The thing that is even more odd is that these packagings are in English only. I dunno about the other provinces, but these ones would never land on Quebec's pegs.

Yeah the news was more about how Canada was handling exclusivity rather than it being about the availability of that specific figure.

Glad to see the distribution being worked out between the retailers. I was quite pleased with my "Jolly Rancher" cyberverse Abominus that I got from the Ottawa target before it closed, and some of the Beast Hunters repaints looked cool but they were sold out when I had the money.

Now, if only the supply and demand for Combiner Wars could be worked out in my area (Ottawa-Carleton Place), haven't seen any deluxes since July. I had to get all my Wave 2 Stunticons online.

Same with every walmart I have been to in Montreal. The good news is that it is a canada wide rollback and the deluxes are priced the same online.

Voyagers are 20$ online but 35$ in store. Will they price-match the online prices? If yes, how to do it without an I-phone?
