william-james88 wrote:And Noideaforaname, do you find the Megatron headsculpt bad too? You arent the only one who does but I find it interesting how thats the only one people are having different opinions on.
william-james88 wrote:Dear doctor vaal, can you tell us what you see as a faction symbol in Megatron's spark crystal? If it's not the predacon symbol, maybe Ryan should take a pic and post it. We are getting conflicting reports online.
Also I hope I do not sound too immature but paying for that sticker sheet if you want some eyes is pretty lame.
Gearslide wrote:Wow, that Magnaboss does NOT look great. The face Stickers completely ruin it. Too bad they couldn't snag the head mold for Takara's Computron to give out as a bonus at Botcon or something. Hell, the pre-existing colors for UW Computron already work for Magnaboss (Gold face, Blue eyes, Brown/Magenta helmet).
But here's the real question:
Do stickers and two new limbs a new official combiner make? Can I expect a Seibertron Gallery of this Magnaboss and his goofy face?

TM3 Megatron, though... Why the Dinobot spark crystal? Why the lack of painted eyes? Granted, I can fix both of them, but for an $89 figure, I don't think I should have to.
Why the living hell didn't FunPub test the credit card machines until four hours into the start of the show? In 2016, and with a ROOM full of dealers who can use credit cards, there's no reason to accept that.

Wait a sec, there is an homage to Red Dragon Beast Wars Megatron and it's not your most wanted item? Wouldnt this be the ultimate toy for you?

It's a beautiful lookign figure, and I do want it, but my ultimate figure was and always will be the X-9 Ravage figure, whom I got from AA 2 years ago. From this set, my most wanted item is the Tripredacus Council. I literally exploded with joy when they were revealled. Show 'accurate' figures of those three are the one item I thought I would never get.
I get more excited over characters that were actually in the show over homages. Hence, I do want Airrazor and Megs, but I have their original toys, so the excitement is a little lower.
Also, I want to point out a major flaw in the bios of the council. It states they were all active during G1. This is wrong (unless you go for alternate universe in which case, all bets are off) as Ram Horn states that the Autobots defeated their Decepticon ancestors. That wouldn't make sense unless the council members were sparked AFTER the Great War ended.![]()

And yeah, Unit 3 does look nice. Very nice.

The Club store didn't accept credit cards AT ALL until around 8:30 due to a litany of reasons ranging from "Our equipment is 2G and this network is 3G" to "The walls are too thick to get a signal" to "Trust me, it works in Texas!" Finally, they decided it might be possible to manually input card numbers on an iPad, and they warned, "It'll be slow! It might be faster for you all to run down to the ATM and get cash!"
So, after standing in line for a few hours, I was finally allowed to pay for my stuff with technology available to local art fairs...
Brian said that they MIGHT have card readers up and running by Saturday afternoon, but that cash is better.
Can't comment on the other flaws (eyeballs thing is plain weird), but tooling a mold for mass-producing new components typically costs thousands.Nemesis Maximo wrote:(c) If you're already paying $90 for the figure, surely the cost to make the new head and paint-job is recuperated after only one or two sales,
