Exclusive Transformers 4 Concept Art from Paramount Pictures

It still baffles me that Two-Headed Shockwave was INTENTIONAL, and not just a quick reuse of animation models.

Also, I like how Hound apparently used to be just a thin army guy with a helmet, but someone said "that's too boring, make him fat with a beard".

I'd be surprised if they didn't retool (again) Dispensor to make the Oreo-bot.

I kind of wonder if the one with the hailfire missile pods was supposed to be Galvatron, since they have similar heads? He'd make a pretty good abstract Armada Demolishor, though.

Hopefully not. If it is then they've drastically missed the major details of what Cyclonus looks like, which they already did with Galvatron.

If anything, he looks like Megatron on an abstract Armada Demolishor body.

Looks like you could just take any Movie voyager SS, add some cylinders and Hailfire's missile pods, take off the wings and paint the whole thing silver.

Hound. The only thing g1 hound and movie hound have in common is green.
And the dude with the cannons for arms has a barricade face.

I've been right there the whole time, and never liked the designs. I understand artistic license, but these are supposed to be adaptations of characters we know. If the Avengers can look like the Avengers, why can't the Transformers look like the Transformers.

But really, appearance is only a superficial complaint I can level. A design change could be fine if they could make the characters their own with interesting interpretations, but they are mostly just stilted backdrops. All the names are there, they just don't mean anything.

To be frank, I'd be fine with them even referencing ARMADA Cyclonus's design, If only to know that someone recognized the history of the brand and the unique look of it's characters.

He does share a lot of design cues; the head, the cables, being primarily silver with blue and gold details, little to no apparent vehicle kibble (he's got guns, but he might as well not have an alternate form). Could be an early Galvatron, or a different bot that got repurposed as him, or even perhaps all the KSI bots would've been far more homogenous...

He also has movie Screamer's big gorilla gunpod arms. He might have been intended as Screamer reborn as, oh I don't know, Cyclonus or Scourge before it got scrapped.

I don't remember this "Manmade Bot Heaby Armament", did someone may remind me a scene with it?
