First Images for Transformers Robots in Disguise / TAV Warrior Clash Figures

Technically, we have 4 "Clash of the Transformers" figures, that Megatronus is part of the line. The names are:

Optimus Prime Clash of the Transformers Version
Bumblebee Clash of the Transformers Version
Sideswipe Clash of the Transformers Version
Big Megatronus Clash of the Transformers Version

Still part of Transformers Adventure, and Toys 'R Us Japan Exclusives, along with Lost Age Black Knight Optimus Prime.

But it seems the Big Megatronus is not part of the Clash subline for Hasbro right? And do you think the decos will be any different?

I'm guessing "Clash of the Transformers" in Japan will be limited to these 4 special releases. And Megatronus... Hard to say. The full name suggests there will be a regular version in the TED series, redecoed of course, but I'm not putting any money on it.

It's a safe bet they'll be similar to the "USA Editions" of old ("imported" Hasbro toys), so hardly any, if any, deco changes.

PS: Am I the only one who preffers the reveals of this thread over all the others? I think its how superior the decos are and how cheap these toys are (they are at a lower price point compared to the legends line in Japan). And that Optimus... MAN! I missed having full blown leader toys, its just too bad I wont know what he is saying.

An Addendum to that: TRU Australia has confirmed that the 5-Step Megatronus is exclusive to that chain, and thus could be considered part of Clash of the Transformers.

Autobase Aichi has posted the newest Takara Tomy TAV stock images. These are for the toys which were shown at the Tokyo Toy Show:

TAV-21 Optimus Prime
TAV-22 Sideswipe
TAV-23 Autobot Jazz
TED-10 Strongarm

And to those who are unaware, the TAV-21 Optimus Prime is an in house Takara mold.

I see... If I'm not mistaken, the inset square is part of a little gimmick involving a dial. According to the ad, you can turn it to reveal either a regular symbol for symmetry and esthetics, or the symbol that works with the app.

Making it sticky would kind of go against the idea of a thread for things that are "now available". I commenting on an older "no available online" thread and the first thing someone said was "I clicked on the link and that deal is outdated", so having a thread that stays at the top only when the content stays temporally related makes more sense and avoids any confusion even if the date is written on the posts. If people want it to work, they have to add to it, hence why I just promoted it.

It would be nice to promote it but not all members are astute as to dig in numerous posts as sometimes the thread gets pushed back. Kind of like the even stickied "Da Rules" . A lot of people tend to gloss over it the way others here gloss over the instruction manuals of our TFs to try and "transform" the figure on their own.

Anyway, just a suggestion 'cause,as a good mod/news hound, you are only answering the concern of a very vocal minority.

Anyways, back to the product on hand. That Optimus is sooooooooooooooooo sweet! And Jazz is equally "Jazzy"
