I suspect Takara will come to our rescue...again. I also want them to fix Vortex's colors. I know the yellow and red details are toy accurate, as is Hasbro's usual modus operandi, but they look awful. I'd rather the most subdued pallet of the G1 cartoon model.

Yes! These are amazing Don't really understand why so many people love sky-lynx? is it his part in some comic series, is it to fill a gap in your updated collection, is it fond memories? Sky Reign looks so amazing; and it was clever to pull a 180 (literally) on us with Hotspot/Onslaught. Want Chopshop, as I never got the first version (that insecticon guy), the auto-cars are an insta-skip, though I need some to combine with Sky-Lynx...

It'd be cool, so long as it doesn't use that god-awful op/motormaster mold; at this point though (with the (pseudo) reveal of Blaster)mare we assuming he'll be a repaint of blaster just for ease of re-purposing these companion figures?

That latter part wpuld make a lot more sense, yes. Perhaps Soundwave on Jupiter will have something of the new body, too. Hmm.

Finally, an Optimus toy that can be called a Star Convoy homage without me complaining about the overuse of that comparison

Isn't Hasbro giving us BOTH colorations though? G1 cartoon AND G1 toy accurate Combaticons at retail?

I love Blast Off as a fighter jet, I just wish they retooled him and Vortex. They could've used one helicopter retool for one of the Victorion helicopters and Vortex and Alpha Bravo/Blades for the other Victorion Helicopter.

I also think that a retool of First Aid would've suited Trailbreaker better as he had the enclosed back but I'm ok with Offroad for Ironhide though because of TFP. They could've then used Offroad for Hoist as the fist on the back kinda looks like a towing device of some sort. Oh well, I missed both Generations Trailbreaker and Hoist so I'll get Trailbreaker without a doubt and if they do Hoist, I'll get him too. Who am I kidding, I'll get all the Autobots regardless. I've just always loved the Scramble City styling. That and my Universe Ironhide's and Prowl's paint got all crappy so I need new ones anyway.

Am I the only one who loves that Chopshop can use his Targetmaster self as a weapon just like Waspinator? So if they truly plan on completing teams then Kickback should be soonish after Chopshop hopefully. Then a Ransack repaint/tool of Kickback and a Barrage repaint/tool of Bombshell. So where does that leave Venom? A retool of Kickback and/or Ransack?

I think I'm going to have to cut myself off at the "leader" class Seeker trio. I would've gotten Voyagers no problem but these I may have to pass on unless I find them on sale like I did Grimlock, Jetfire and Armada Megatron.


Oh yeah I almost forgot. I absolutely LOVE that Sky Lynx. I might have to get two, one for itself and the other for combining.

And why oh why couldn't they have at least changed that all white prime into white with red legs instead of grey? Red legs would've been all it really needed to be so close to a Thunderclash homage. Sure there's a lot of navy and teal missing but the red legs would've looked so good on it especially with Hot Rod as the chest.

As soon as i saw that sky lynx was being made i was like OH HELL YEAH FUCK YEAH IT WAS FINALLY TIME THEY MADE SKY LYNX
