The whole 4 waves thing wasn't a rumor it was speculation from members on this board. Trypticon will be part of titans return, the poll vote said that the winner would be the second titan class figure of titans return.

It's unknown at this point. Depends on how long TR lasts. Rumor has it only 4 waves so Trypticon would be a part of the next line, but I personally hope we get headmasters for more than 4 waves

I suspect that Brunt will transform from a tank into Trypticon's dinosaur Head. and that a Full-Tilt titanmaster will be involved somehow. most likely as a head for some nonsense humanoid robot mode.

I really hope that Fulltilt and Brunt are part of the TR Trypticon set as Titanmasters themselves and hell add Wipe out in there too as a repaint of Legends Tailgate/Windcharger that would make the set worth buying for me.
If I had any money for it of course but I'll be trying to get more Titan Returns figures this time then I did for Combiner wars (Only have the two Optimus Prime molds, Mirage, Ironhide, Prowl, Streetwise, Rodimus, Alpha Bravo and Blackjack which yes means I have 8 Autobots vs Blackjack)
I'm also glad for the fans and collecting sakes that Hasbro has all of the original Autobot and Decepticon rebirth Headmasters including Cerebros (no including the Horrocons and Scorponok) being made for this line while also having new spins on old characters.

So what are you kids talking about these days? Titans eh? Well allow me to weigh in far too late: I sincerely hope that Sixshot is Leader class, and how do y'all feel about characters being Headmasters that shouldn't be? Personally I'ma just pretend their heads don't transform

Well hello sleepy head, let me catch you up to speed with some thoughts of my own on your questions:
I want Sixshot at bare minimum to be leader, preferable some sort of new class larger than leader though cause he and Overlord deserve to be huge(just not titan sized).
And as for the characters who weren't headmaster now being headmasters, after I got over Galvatron I am good with it. It is fun and it gets us some cool new characters, some who haven't had a toy in decades, and some awesome homages

Things like Galvatron and Blurr being headmasters is weird, but it's easy for me to get over for the play value and just pretending they're not headmasters while displayed. No biggie imo

I understand people being upset about Galvatron being a headmaster, but I personally really like Blurr being one, since it makes his head bigger and more to-scale with his body.

Oh no no, it's not the mechanics of it - I think they look wonderful and it adds play value - it's just from a fiction perspective since one of the things about Generations is getting new versions of Generation 1 characters that can be displayed as Generation 1 characters. So at first it's weird, but again, it doesn't really bother me as it's easily ignorable and just adds another thing to play value when you take it off the shelf. The only thing that gets to me is Blurr, Triggerhappy, Scourge and other targetmaster redos won't have their targetmasters; so I hope either a third party or a change to the Titan Master size class can fix that.

Plus Blaster and Soundwave with the dual homage there with the heads is pretty neat

Galvatron has never been any type of "master", but Blurr was turned into a Targetmaster at one point. All Head-, Target-, and Powermasters are fair game.

So Blaster is Perceptor AND Twincast at the same time?
Only ones I don't get are Galvatron's head being Megatron. Is it a small Megatron, or a huge Galvatron?
Anyhow, I LOVE Headmasters and the gimmick, so Titans Return is kinda a dream come true for me.

Don't think the little guys as separate characters, more like fun nods towards the overall lore.

Ehhh... I wouldn't quite say that. Powermasters yeah because like, aside from the whole unlocking transformation thing... there isn't really much of a difference. It's still a smaller guy becoming part of the larger transformer's robot mode to complete said robot mode.
Targetmasters on the other hand are completely different; it's literally just a guy that turns into a gun and isn't needed for the robot mode. Hell you could argue Megatron and Shockwave from G1 are Targetmasters if you like but that's getting off track.
But again... it honestly doesn't bother me.

The only thing that currently concerns me about Titans Return is how the Voyager Optimus is gonna do having both the normal Optimus head and the Star Convoy head. Are both heads goiing to be packed with him together? Will the face be swappable? Will one be included with him and the other sold on its own? How will this work!?

Yeah well they ARE coming out with a voyager headmaster Megatron also, so it's only really a joke I guess how Galvatron's headmaster looks like Megatron.

I think the crest thing just folds out; it's one solid piece on it's own that... well, transforms.
I'm personally really glad about it because if we get a Nemesis Prime redeco (which, since it's a laser prime, is damn near certain to become Scourge at one point or another), this means that the transforming head thing will differentiate the two figures more without any actual molding differences.

While I'm curious to see what IDW does with this as far as "cannon" is concerned. I'm perfectly happy just enjoying the play features and characters as presented. I've always been a fan of bases (or nightclubs in the case of the audio-bots). While I do think the triple play feature with the "cassettes" is cool. I do think it worked better on paper than it worked out in hand. I got to say I wasn't overly impressed with Buzzsaw, especially with sticker peeling.
I am curious of Generations Brainstorm was a testing-of-the-waters for the gimmick, if not, I kind of wish they'd put him off so we didn't end up with two.

No, the Star Convoy head looks a bit blockier than the normal Optimus head. They have to be different molds. The faceplate on the Star Convoy head looks to be a slightly different shape from the normal Optimus head as well.

Only one will get used: making two head designs for the same mold has become run-of-the-mill here. They've fully embraced pretooling! Darkmoon/Infinitus and Stylor/Rev are of the same nature.
